Daniel Wu is The President of YongWu Construction holdings. The President been widowed for two years after his lost his wife Xiaolu at flood disaster. He have 6 years old son named Luhan who in mute after knowing his mother's gone. Even at the age of 4 Luhan can't talk properly, but luhan has a father who always encourage him for talking. 

Daniel knew he cannot gave the boy much time to play together or even to talk because of his uptight personality, but he tried his best to spare his time for his only son for talk and play with, eventhough he knows that doesn't help the problem much. he knows luhan need someone who can give the comfort like his mother gave him, even all of luhan babysit's and all the house helper can't get the boy to talk. it hurt him that he can't even communicate with his only son, seeing Luhan always play by himself and no one can get closed to him. 

The President get many suggestion from all his relative to bussines partner, from suggestion to have a new wife or get luhan to school at private school. until some of his bussines colleague and his long friend suggest to adopt child, so luhan can have a sibling who can play with him and connect with. and so he did it, at the begining he doubt if he get boy or girl from the orphanages so suddenly probably luhan won't give a chance to be close with. but if daniel brings Luhan to the orphanage to get to know everyone in a place which full of children same age as him, maybe luhan can open a little bit. 

At two days before Chrismast Eve, The President finaly have the schedule to bring luhan to watch a play at the Rainbow House an orphanage house.
