The girls had remembered it so clearly, that day where the managers had ushered them into the meeting room. They should've known that something was wrong from the way they just wouldn't meet their eyes. So FAERIETALE hadn't had the most successful debut -- they knew that, absolutely. Half of the time they promoted, music shows didn't even know because of their company's poor planning. But Woolim had owned up to their mistakes and promised their next comeback would be a hit. When they sat in the meeting room, the six young girls were estatic and happily chatting about what their concept and song would be like this round.

The door opened, revealing not the usual head promotions manager and head songwriter, but the CEO himself. The young girl group immediately fell into silence, greeting him softly and honestly, their nerves were now eatting at them. The CEO almost never came to anything involving promotions. This had to be big or serious for him to come to meet them.

"I'm sure some of you would like to know why I'm here... and a few of you already do." His voice was stoic, and his face didn't betray his own feelings either. Little Red felt her hands shaking from nerves. What was happening?

Cinderella just turned to give a little glare at their leader, GiGi. GiGi's face remained unmoving, her head down, but her eyes held all the fear in the world. She knew what was about to happen.

"GiGi." The leader's head snapped up, her face still blank. She didn't even flinch when the CEO slammed down some papers, causing the rest of the group to jump back in their seats. Beauty leaned over to see what they said. Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped.

"T-this... This..." Beauty said meekly, her head dropping in submission when the CEO glanced over, silencing her. "Yes. This. Care to explain, GiGi?"

"It speaks for itself, I think." GiGi said, voice unfaltering. His eyes flashed. "Speaks for itself? I'd like to you elaborate before any action is taken against you."

The Little Mermaid gasped and clung to GiGi's arm, looking at the CEO with wide eyes. Action? Against GiGi? Surely GiGi hadn't done anything so terrible as to have this happen. He must be overacting, she thought. It only made sense. She would never --

"Like I said, sir, it speaks for itself." She interrupted the main dancer's thoughts. The man breathed heavily through his nose. "I never would have expected this, this absolute disrespect from someone I entrusted as a leader --"

"And I would have never expected to be disrespected by someone who is supposedly a man of his word, however, that doesn't seem like it's the case, is it?" GiGi shot back, standing up and brushing off the Little Mermaid's hold. 

The CEO stiffened, hands clenching. "I have done nothing but attempted to help you and your groupmates fulfill your dreams of performing. This is incredibly unfair to them, mind you. Did you even consider that, GiGi?"

GiGi scoffed, "They were all planning on doing the same thing, well, except for Cinderella, since she's your little princess." She sneered at the main rapper, who scowled back. The girls were so confused at this point. What was happening??

"The media is tearing you and them apart," He stated, "And you really think this will follow through for you after the controversy it caused?"

"Who do you think suggested the entire thing?" She shot back. And that was the breaking point for the older man. He sighed heavily through his nose, eyes cold and hands hovering over the table.

"I expect you to be gone by tonight. Because of you, FAERIETALE is no more." A small chorus of wails and protests heeded not the CEO's ears, grabbing the documents and leaving as quickly as he came. Little Mermaid blinked back tears. FAERIETALE? No More? And what about Gi--

The opposite door slammed from behind, signalling that none other than their leader had left them, leaving the rest of the five confused, heartbroken, and unsure of their future.
 

Curled up in her bed at the dorm for what could be the last night, Beauty's mind was racing. How could GiGi have done this to them? She turned over, seeing that her roommate, Cinderella, was also wide awake, was sitting up, arms resting on her knees and in a hard line, staring at the wall in front of her.

"H-hey, Cinderella..." Beauty sat up, looking over at her now former group mate. "Do you know anything about the papers?" Cinderella glanced over, nodding. "Yeah... You saw?"

"Yeah."

"It was awful of her, wasn't it?" Cinderella spat, brow furrowing. "How dare she terminate her contact with Woolim and already be signed to another company as a solo artist!"

"But... why? Why would she? I know that she wanted to be a soloist eventually, but she seemed... so happy with us. We were all happy." Beauty's bottom lip trembled.

Cinderella sighed. "Looks are decieving, especially in her case." 

"What's going to happen to us?" 

Silence fell over the two roommates, before Beauty allowed the tears to fall, sniffling softly. It hurt so much to have a member leave, and then the CEO disband the group without a second thought. It wasn't their fault that one person had been so selfish and had left... But the other girls didn't know. They couldn't know. Cinderella looked over at her crying friend, before sighing and slipping out of her bed, scooching onto her roommates and hugging her closely, allowing her to cry into her shoulder. 

"Hey... hey." Cinderella consoled, rubbing Beauty's back soothingly, "It's okay. Don't worry about it. We may have been disbanded, but do you seem them kicking us out of our group's dorm?" A slight shake of the head.

"How about terminating our contracts? Has he done that?" Another shake.

"Has any trainee or teacher approached us asking us why we're still here?" Yet another shake of the girl's head, and Cinderella nodded, now playing with the ends of Beauty's hair. 

"Exactly. We'll talk to the CEO about it, okay? I'm sure if we go straight to him with the others and tell him that we weren't apart of it, he'll let us stay as trainees. We're still really young, we could be given another chance. Don't give up, we'll get through this."

Beauty looked up in teary eyes, holding up her pinky finger, "Promise?"

Cinderella interlocked her finger with hers, nodding, "Promise."
