Promise
Description
A promise is a commitment by someone to do or not do something. As a noun promise means a declaration assuring that one will or will not do something. As a verb it means to commit oneself by a promise to do or give. -Wikipedia
A statement telling someone that you will definitely do something or that something will definitely happen in the future. -Merriam-Webster
Two people, best of friends, made a promise that they will always be with each other no matter what happens. What if this promise will be broken? What will happen?
Foreword
"Promise me" A girl, hair tied in a ponytail told the boy beside her as they lied on the grass.
"What?" The boy asked, hair messed up.
"That we'll always be with each other" the girl said.
"I promise" the boy said and the two of them intertwined their pinkies.
"Don't you ever break it!" the girl said.
"I won't" the boy said with a smile.
She cried as the memory of the day they promised to be always with each other came flashing by.
"You said that you will never break our promise, why did you?"
