Description
Living in a world where some people had superpowers, Kim Jongdae never understood why everyone else hated those who possessed powers. They needed a pearl to unlock their powers and not everyone had a hidden superpower, as the outlanders were a minority. Having a job as a diver, Jongdae had an easier access to pearls. Due to that, inspections were carried out regularly when there were new recruits, causing many outlanders to be taken away, one of them being Jongdae's best friend and diving partner. So when he finds pearls during one of his dives with his new partner, Kim Minseok, he realizes something that would flip his life, and probably many others, upside down.
Foreword
I've done some researching here and there about diving, pearls and even oysters (because I have SO MUCH -- nope none -- knowledge about oysters...) to make sure I keep my facts right. It may not be seen through the story, but it has helped me in various ways.
Also, I'll be entering Koreykrypta's Tenderose Writing contest in the Long Haul category and Exodus theme.
