Description

Park Emma and Kim Jongin were best friends since they were born, but Jongin’s family decides to leave America and move back to Korea, two days before Emma’s 8^th birthday. “You won’t forget me, Nini?” “Never. We will meet again, soon. And after that, I won’t ever leave you again, Emma. I promise.” Years pass, and now a 17-year-old Emma is furious about her father’s decision to move to the country she came from, but had nothing to do with. Leaving her home and friends in Chicago, she finds herself in the rush of Seoul, were she has to face a new school and new people. Emma feels discouraged, but everything changes when destiny brings a long lost childhood friend back into her life. Emma and Jongin continue where they left off, as if there were no years between now and the last time they saw each other. Of course, now that they are teens, not everything can stay the same, right? But, have their lives and goals become too different? Can Jongin really keep his promise and never leave her side again?
