Characters: 

Krystal jung: age 18 

A senior in high school. Krystal jung is a quiet girl living a very sheltered life. She is the shadow of the crowd. Her mysterious aura drew people in, especially guys, although she never paid attention to any of them. She is the lone wolf in the school. Although people felt drawn to her , they stayed clear. She is a shy girl, but very sweet and kind hearted. However, the extreme levels of restriction that have been placed upon her, has caused her to be hot tempered. She does not really know how to approach boys when she likes them and mostly does what she is told and does not argue. Krystal doesn’t really rebel and rarely complains about her situations. She is super organized and efficient, but also very logical. Those around her credits her with being a “genius,” because she can solve problems and calculate things in her head. She has a natural instinct to learn anything she puts her mind to. She is bored with school because it is so easy for her and feels a strong drive towards success and a challenge. She is a planner, but also impulsive in desiring immediate action. She gets her friends and her mother out of trouble by taking a logical step for them, but also sometimes gets herself into trouble by acting too quickly. Krystal is also very athletic and agile. She is practical, down to earth, and is detailed in her personal life. She’s honest, direct, and completely outspoken, this even resulting in her hurting someone in some cases. She doesn’t take things personally and is not afraid to point out other flaws, though she also sees the strong points of someone, too. Rather than dealing with her emotions, Krystal ignores them in the hope that they will disappear. She isn’t good at handling them and sometimes erupts into a full blown panic attack. She feels things deeply and whenever forced to deal with her emotions, she makes some very unhealthy decisions. Krystal has a calm soul, never making a fuss over anything, until someone got in her face or threatened something she cared about. She has a tendency to want to “fix" things and people, and likes having her life under control. 

Jackson: Age 18

A senior in high school. He is the big man on campus of the popular clique. He is the star quarter back of Seoul high. He is your typical jock. He is witty, smart, short tempered, mean, and self centered. However despite this, he can be loyal and caring. He is what you call a “casanova.” Jackson is all about the ladies and isn’t about the “steady relationships.” He enjoys playing with girls hearts but despite this, he takes care of them. He does not let anything or anyone stand in his way once he is committed to his goal. Jackson tends to be quite adaptable and he finds it easy to fit into most social set ups. He becomes irritated when things doesn’t go his way. Jackson rarely ever had anyone get in his way, but sometimes he just wanted someone to stop him and talk to him. Many people thinks that he is just a “spoiled brat”. He is arrogant, hostile, competitive, wounded, and insecure(but he doesn’t show it). He has an extreme competitive and aggressive nature which shows through hostility towards people who best him. Despite his abrasive personality, he cares a lot about his friends and dislikes hurting them. His personality stems from a need to be liked, a need to have people proud of him. Growing up, Jackson was alone. His father is a man who never has the time for his son and is unwilling to be there for him. His mother left the two for reasons that are unknown to Jackson but had made him hate his mother. Jackson was once a sweet boy who never hurt anyone but due to the consist emotional and mental abuse he was getting, he changed himself into a man who never cares and would do as he pleases. 

Melissa: Age 34

She is Krystal’s mother. Melissa had Krystal when she was just merely 16 years old. Krystal is the adult in the relationship with her mother, taking care of her, reminding her to be careful when out on dates and playing peacemaker. Melissa is a very laid back woman. She is a very nice person, however at times she has a really bad temper, which is where Krystal gets it from. She can sometimes be stubborn and can stand up to herself and wants to be a good mother. Despite the fact that she became pregnant at a young age and is considered irresponsible, she still loves Krystal and takes good care of her. She is vivacious, seductive, and has a tough girl swagger to her. She is extremely close to Krystal, behaving more like her sister. When faced upon people who are a “Snob” she is ruthless, determined, and a destructive force to be reckoned with. She is sassy, independent and y. She doesn’t trust easily. She is focused on what she wants and she feels things very deeply. People respect her in a weird way because she knows what she wants and she’s not afraid to get it. She is what you call a “Feisty princess.” Having a fear that her daughter might turn out like her, Melissa gave Krystal many restrictions which Krystal didn’t complain about. Melissa and Krystal have a bond that is unbreakable. 

Luna: age 18 

A senior in high school. Krystal’s best friend. She has a huge crush on Jackson wang. She is one of the popular girls at school, the captain of the cheerleading squad, and was organizing the parities and always displaying a high defense of leadership among her friends. She is beautiful and chic, and determined. She has a sensitive and loving nature. Despite having a confident exterior and high social prestige, underneath it, Luna is very insecure, neurotic, and upset that she could never say the right thing to make guys fall for her. She is an overachiever at times, creating flaws and complexities in her character. She has a “If you want something done right, do it yourself” kind of attitude. She has a sass that is hard to match. She has no problem in telling people how it is even if it hurts their feelings. She is so involved in her social status that she doesn’t want to get seen with her best friend, Krystal. The two meet outside of school, which Krystal never complains about and lets Luna do her thing.  

Suzy: age 18 

A junior in high school. She was held back due to her constantly skipping class. She is a cheerleader. Suzy is all about popularity. If she doesn’t like you then you have a problem. She is rich and has no problem on telling people how it is. She dislikes those who are poor and under her, bashing them in every way possible. She is wanted by many guys but only has eyes on one man. She loves Jackson but is frustrated and sad that he doesn’t feel the same way, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t get territorial.
