Prologue

Dark cloud smeared on the sky as lightning cracked the darkness. There’s almost nothing visible from the place he sat at; yet it was supposed to have the best view from above to see his Creator’s masterpiece; the Earth. A gold thunderbolt landed next to him as he shielded himself from the impact with his wings. White feathers spread around him as he gazed on the figure he knew, almost too well.

“We need to find them fast,” the figure spoke,” Father wants us to put an end to this, Yoohwan.”

“I know, Junho hyung,” Yoohwan spoke as he pulled his knees tighter into his chest,” I just wonder if there’s no other choice besides killing the host---“

“Are you questioning Father?” Junho continued in threatening tone,” You’re almost succeeded to end it all for once but you didn’t. You promise you wouldn’t make the same mistake again.”

“I was too proud that time, but this time I’ve grown wise enough and I have you, hyung,” Yoohwan spoke the fact,” I’m thinking if there’s any other possibility to do this because I don’t want to make any more mistake.”

“Really?” Junho asked as he continued,” Or is it because you hesitated due to the fact you remembered you used to call one of those demons as brother?”

Yoohwan flinched a little bit from his position as he gazed into Junho’s eyes. Long time ago when he’s a novice angel, he almost killed the Demon King and his servants. Yet, storm of memories got inside of him as he lost control. He knew it’s his past life and he had new purpose in this new life. But still, the shock was enough for him to let the demons slipped away.

“Aren’t you?” Yoohwan asked almost like a whisper,” You used to call Junsu---“

“Enough,” Junho closed his eyes;” I’m going to find them myself if you’re still hesitant of your decision.”

With that Junho flew away as he rode on another thunderbolt heading to Earth. Yoohwan sighed as he slowly got up and decided to follow Junho. He knew he acted cold and heartless in front of the demons; in fact being around the demons made him felt sick due to his nature.

Yet, there’s this tiny hope inside of him that maybe there’s another wiser decision than killing the host of Demon King and his servants. Maybe they could do something to just seal the power away; he knew those people used to be good human before after all.

Yoohwan closed his eyes as he made his decision. He would try to find an alternate choice but if he couldn’t until it’s time, he would end it like their Father wanted. Being Archangel bounded him and Junho to obey the God in definite after all.
