Growing up an orphan, Song Iseul has never had it easy. She’s already had her chance at a new life, but those who are tormented by their pasts cannot so easily heal their fractured souls. After being accepted into a prestigious university, things start to look up for Iseul. But her past is full of secrets and her new friends have many of their own. 

Living in a world where empowered people are hunted down and killed, many of the Empowered seek refuge amongst themselves, forming groups with different abilities.

An old enemy is rising and Iseul must find who she can trust or risk all she holds dear.

Throughout her life, Iseul has never broken, never given in to that hint of darkness residing in her mind but now the stakes are higher and the push may just be enough to make her snap.
