The Brighter Side of the Darkness
Description
Foreword
The slam of coffe mug against marble rings through my ears.
"You really think that everything I've done is to manipulate what your perspective of me is?!"
I scoff and set down my own mug.
"How can I be sure that everything your telling me is the truth. What makes you think that I see you differently from the other members."
I had my back faced towards him, but I could feel his presence as he saunters up next to me. I turn my head and gasp at the close proximity of his head. His darkeyes are searching mine for some sort of answer to if I'm telling the truth or not. My face burns from his heat and I lower my head trying to get away from him. The minute I move, he grabs my wrist and pulls me towards him, my feet tripping over each other and I grab onto him as instinct to steady myself. He leans in, warm breath tickling my nose.
"I don't think anyone in this house right now has the capability to make you feel like this."
