When Yongguk decided to go back home to the small island he grew up on, it was to relax and get away from the hectic life he has in Seoul. His plan was to stay in his childhood home for a week then back to his life in the big city but all that changed the day his nearly drowned while swimming in the sea. He would learn that the ocean was filled of mysterious creatures when one of them saved his life, a merman.

Himchan was one of a kind. The beautiful merman had spent most of his life alone swimming the ocean. He never dared to venture so close to land in fear of getting caught by the mysterious land creatures until he spots one of them being dragged into the rough waters of the sea.

Curiosity would bring Himchan and Yongguk together but for how long?

Okay here's the deal with this fic.  (If you follow me on tumblr then you already know my dilemma with it.)  

I've had the idea for this fic for about over a year now but I never had the time to write it.  And I really really really really wanted to write it but I pushed it off to the side until about a week or so ago.  I finally decided I was going to write this fic.  But, it is up in the air whether this fic will be a multiple chaptered fic or a one shot.  Being that I already have two on-going multi-chaptered fics plus a drabble series, I don't know if I would be able to manage updating those plus this one if it does in fact turn out to be multiple chapters.  But if I condense this down into a one shot, it won't be the same fic I came up with a year ago.  

I have already started to write this fic and by the way it's going so far, chances are that it will be multi-chapters.  How many, I don't know.  I don't see this getting anywhere near 10 chapters.  If it goes beyond 5, I will be surprised.  But who knows, as I write this it could very well end up a one shot while keeping everything that I already had planned out.

I'm just going to tell you guys this, I'm not the quickest writer and I don't that much time in the day to actually write.  So I don't know when exactly I will update this.  But do rest assure, it will be updated.  I will write this fic.  I am writing this fic.  I am 100% in love with this fic and I really want to write it.  So if you guys are patient with me and wait for the update, I guarantee you that you won't be disappointed.  At least I hope you won't be.
