I count my steps as I walked on the red carpet covered with red petals of roses. 

Three...

Two...

One...

I counted as I get nearer to the person I'm expecting. Shiny white gown and orange blonde hair is tied into a perfect ponytail. There she is, waiting for me at the end of the carpet, smiling softly. It's beautiful but sadly, it's forced.

Warm

That was I thought once she got hold my hand and face the crowd and our parents sitting on a private table at the center. I didn't notice that my cheeks warmed like the temperature of her warmth in my palm. 
 

She looks at me while smiling forcefully as she took my right hand and her other hand went through my face as she's getting something behind my ear. She pulled out and I noticed that she just pulled out a diamond ring behind my ear and she slipped it through my ring finger then smile at me. 

My eyes got teary, it's not because of love. Not because of joy. 

I hurriedly closed my eyes as I felt a hand on my chin. I actually closed my eyes to prevent my tears from falling. I felt the presence of her head is nearing as I guess that she's leaning on me to crash her lips on mine. I was right, she did kiss me but I felt nothing on it. I want to groan when she bit my bottom lip, indicating that I have to kiss her back. Unfortunately, my tears rolled down.

Not because of Love. Not because of Surprise. Not because of Joy.

But because of pain. She's not mine. She's anyone else's. I'm just her fiancé, that girl in light blue dress is her love of life. I'm just her soon to be wife, she's her love of life.

The carpet of petals are just rose thorns. 

The love on my heart is already torned. 

The pain on my lip is bit unbearable but it never really mattered. 

Cause the my heart is already being shattered.
