환영 (PHANTOM)
Description
i’ve spent all my life seeing things that shouldn’t be seen.
Foreword
at the tender age of ten, kim sunggyu began to see beyond what the human eye could, he began to see the spirits that linger on this earth. he was afraid at first, afraid they would hurt him, and he isn’t going to lie -- some of them tried. but, there were many who just wanted his help, help in crossing over to the other side help in finding peace. at the start it was hard for sunggyu to aid them; as he was so young -- his parents just believed them to be imaginary friends and sunggyu realized as he grew older it was better to keep them in the dark about this strange gift (curse) of his.
his teen years were rather chaotic, as he was finally old enough to help these spirits, but also trying to maintain good grades and some sort of social interactions. his first girlfriend left him because she believed he was cheating on her, and sunggyu found himself lonely in a romantic sense for the rest of his time in high school. he figured that there would be no way to romantically connect with anyone as long as he had to aid these specters; as how could he tell them the truth?
sunggyu had friends though, or really just two. howon and dongwoo were his only real friends; and howon was in a year lower than dongwoo and sunggyu. his two best friends started dating senior year and sunggyu didn’t even find himself surprised, he was surprised though when he found out howon had a spirit connected to him -- and it was then did he realize he’d have to tell his friends of his ability.
the spirit had been of howon’s grandmother, wanting to tell her grandson about the bank account she had for him for when he wanted to start up his dancing dream, howon was skeptic at first but dongwoo, unsurprisingly, believed sunggyu right off the bat. when howon did come to terms with it, he was a little weirded out but when he heard the words sunggyu spoke from his grandmother -- lets just say he was more grateful than anything.
so by the time he graduated high school, his two closest friends knew of his gift and sunggyu wanted to keep it to just the three of them
things never really go as planned though, he’s learned, and for sunggyu his life was about to get a lot more complicated.
this will be loosely based off the drama ' Masters Sun' but there will be many differences. i recently watched the drama and found myself in love with the idea so i decided to woogyu this up. i hope you all enjoy. i am estimating up to ten chapters, but who knows!
