The Sea-Dwellers

Description

Jongin is a glass blower in 2015 and Chanyeol is a writer in 2013. But with the help of a very special, magical mailbox, they somehow write each other letters and fall in love. 

Foreword

Inspired by the films Il Mare and The Lake House, this fic was written for a fun fanfic writing challenge on LJ called exoficpalette. The challenge is to write a fic based on a setting, trope and pairing. There will a wide variety of stories written by great writers and I hope you'll check it out!

The Sea-Dwellers is a parallel universe epistolary story featuring Chanyeol and Kai. The sequel, The Red Mailbox, can be found here.

Chapter 1: My ChanKai feels OMG you are the best i love the movie The Lake House aah (i'm such a sappy romance/drama lover) and this fic takes the best of that movie!! i was so drawn into this fic i wanted to read chanyeol's novels hahaahaha now i'm going for that sequel!! ^-^

Chapter 1: I don't ship Chanyeol with Kai, but holy sijshsisosisjshhsjshshshhshsbshsjjwiwoisisisisols. This was so well written and amazing and it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I read it. It was so emotional and beautiful and I love the correspondence between them. Normally I'm not one for parallel universe type things, but this was just so inspirational, being able to see them fall in love, their confusion then insecurites, was amazing. I don't really think this with many fics, but this would be an amazing plot line for a published book, and if it was a book, I would certainly buy it.

This keeps me sitting tightly and waiting for everything to turn around before me. You're a good writer and this is just so amazing just like how Jongin describes Chanyeol and his books... well, I could actually use Jongin's script to you, yourself. Anyways, I'm so happy that this ended nice because I was on the edge of breaking and crying thinking where could have Chanyeol be or what had happen to him... You're such a good writer. TT-TT My tear ducts too is not as good as Jongin, I'm more of like Chanyeol but this almost made me cry. I was so so sad and happy at the same. Reading this was a crazy ride. CHANKAI is one of my fave otp :))))

Chapter 1: Whoa i'm crying so hard, but as always it's really beautiful fic like the movie il mare. i'm watching il mare so i know the plot of this fic, but its still hurt me so much you know
