Jiyoon skipped happily to the cupcake shop and was even happier as she saw there was no one in the shop. That means she can talk a lot with the beautiful unnie she met yesterday. 

The bell rang just like yesterday as she entered the shop

"Unnie" Jiyoon said in front of the counter

Krystal came and smiled as she saw the girl "Hey, you're back"

"I told you, I'll be back"

Krystal nodded "What can I get you today?"

Jiyoon looked at the colorful cupcakes in the display "Oh, I don't know, Unnie. They all look so good"

"Why don't you take your time and I'll make you something to drink. I tried making something, I hope you don't mind trying it and tell me what you think"

"I don't!" Jiyoon said excitedly "I'm honored"

Krystal laughed and Jiyoon's hair "Choose anything you like. I won't take long"

"Ok, Unnie"

Jiyoon couldn't stop grinning after Krystal her hair, she felt happy when she's around Krystal as if she knew her for a long time.

"Made up your mind?" Krystal came back after a while

"I'll take the red velvet one"

"Alright" Krystal smiled and put Jiyoon's choice on a plate "here you go. Please tell you what you really think about the drink." Krystal sat herself in front of the girl

Jiyoon took a sip of the colorful drink "Wow, Unnie, this tastes really good. What is it?"

"Mango blueberry frosty"

"Oh wow, it's really delicious. You're really a good cook"

"I'm not. I like to bake but I don't cook really well"

"My mom cooks the most delicious pancakes in the world"

"Really?" Kystal smiled 

Jiyoon nodded "Other than that she doesn't cook anything really well. But I still love her food" the girl grinned

"You love your mom so much"

"I do" 

"Your Dad?"

Jiyoon shook her head "I don't have one. Mom raised me all by herself"

"Oh..." 

Krystal stared at the little girl.

Looking at Jiyoon reminded her of something she wanted to forget.

"How old are you?" Krystal said

"12" the girl answered

Twelve...

If only she didn't...

She'll be as old as Jiyoon.

"Unnie..."

Jiyoon's voice woke her from her daydream

"Yes?"

"My friends are coming"

"Really?"

"Yeah, I told them, you have the best cupcakes in the world"

Krystal chuckled "Maybe I should meet up with your mom and we can make the best pancake and cupcakes shop in the whole galaxy"

"Ohh, you two should really meet. I think she'll like you"

"You think?"

"I'm sure"

"What makes you so sure?"

"Because you're so beautiful"

Krystal laughed

Jiyoon took another sip of her drink "But I think Auntie Min won't be so happy about that"

"Mm Mmmm" the girl swallowed another spoon of her cupcake "Mom's girlfriend"

"Mom is gay" the girl said casually, noticing that Krystal looked surprised as she said 'girlfriend'

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean..."

"It's okay. Not everyone understands"

"Please don't misunderstand, I have no problem with that" Krystal looked at the girl "I know how children can be mean sometimes, what about your friends at school?"

"My best friends have no problem with it. Their parents are also chill about it. But yeah, there are some who talk about mom being not normal" 

The girl shrugged "I don't really care. My mom is the best mom in the whole world"

"I'm sure she is" Krystal held the girl's hand

"She's one of the youngest componist  Korean at K-arts"

"Wow, that's amazing!"

Jiyoon's eyes shine brightly showing how proud she is with her mom

"Mom is busy preparing a concert for late autumn. She composed a lot of songs, I'm sure you heard one of them, she even composed songs for Kpop idols."

"What's her name?"

"Amber Liu, but she goes with the name AJ Liu as composer"

"Don't ask, she wouldn't tell me. She said it's a secret prom the past" Jiyoon rolled her eyes
