Jessica's face turned pale "I have to go"

"Unnie, please" Krystal grabbed her sister's hand, her own hand is trembling. "Why did you say that? What do you mean with the truth?!"

"I mean nothing by it" Jessica yanked her hand "I need to go to my children"

"Unnie" Krystal's heart raced, her voice trembled while she chased her sister "Unnie, please. Be my sister, help me. tell me the truth" Krystal took her sister's hand "For once, be my sister. I beg you"

Jessica looked at the girl in front of her, tears started to drop on her cheek "I am sorry, Soojung. I am sorry for everything."

Krystal looked in her sister's eyes "Unnie...tell me. My baby. Did Umma lie? Is she..? Alive?"

"Soojung... I.... " Jessica didn't finish her sentence and left her sister

"UNNIE!" Soojung yelled to call her, she chased after her but the Jessica's bodyguards are blocking her and she could only watch her sister walked away in a hurry with her children.

It felt like the world stop turning for her. So many questions in her head, she needed answers, she needed to know the truth. Jiyoon came back and noticed that Krystal didn't look too good but she was sensitive enough not to ask too many questions. Krystal forced a smile and kneel infront of the girl, trying to hide the 100 questions in her head "Now let's get that ice"

Jiyoon studied Krystal face and then said "You know what, Unnie. I am not in the mood for ice. You can drop me off at home, Nanny Shin will stay until Mom gets home"

"Not in the mood for ice?" Krystal lifted her eyebrow "Since when?"

The little girl smiled "Just today"

"You sure?"

"Yup" Jiyoon smiled again reassuring Krystal.

Eventhough her head is full with the thought of the conversation earlier with her sister, Krystal didn't want Jiyoon to notice it, eventhough she felt that the girl felt that her mind is somewhere else. Jiyoon kissed Krystal's cheek as she stopped the car in front of the house and said "Thank you Unnie for taking me."

"Wait, let me take you inside" 

"No, no. I am fine." Jiyoon shook her head "Thank you again, Unnie"

"But..." Krystal wanted to at least bring the girl inside the house but Jiyoon already went out the car and waved to her 

"See you, Unnie"

Krystal smiled  and waved back "Bye, Jiyoon. See you"

She watched the girl run inside the house, her mind went back to earlier. After taking deep breaths, she started the engine and drove to the place of the past. A place she never keen to go back to. 

It can't be... she kept repeating the sentence in her head trying to reason but her heart knew the truth.

She parked the car and opened the fence. Nothing has change.

She knocked on the door and took a deep breath as the door opened.

"You?" the middle age woman raised her eyebrow as she saw her. No hug, no smile.

"Hallo, Umma"

"What are you doing here this late?"

"Can I come in?"

"Whatever" her mother answered "Now tell me what you want. It's late"

Krystal step inside the house, her whole body is shaking as she said "Umma, she's alive, isn't she? You lied to me"

"What are you talking about?!" her mother raised her voice

Krystal eyes were already filled with tears "My baby! What did you do to her?"

The woman looked at her, first surprised but then her eyes filled with disgust

"UMMA! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BABY?" Krystal started screaming

Mrs. Jung spit on the floor "That bastard child got what she deserved. I buried her alive"

"You lie!" Krystal was shaking from anger and pain "What did you do to her?"

"I am not going to raise a filthy child inside my house! She's dead! Now get out of my house!"

"I am not leaving until you tell me what you did to her! How could you?! She was my baby! Your granddaughter!"

"She was nothing but filth!" Her mother spit on the floor

"SHE'S MY BABY!" Krystal screamed

"You deserved this. Being a useless daughter like you are, you brought nothing but shame to this family. At least your sister married a wealthy man, and you? You are useless!"

Krystal shook her head in disbelieve "You are our mother. You supposed to love us. How could you do this to us?"
