Description
Another short story that promises to bring you through a heartwarming test of true love between two ordinary persons where they fight against social stigmatisation and pursue acceptance in the eyes of others. Shida Mirai is the youngest child in a strict family of four. As her birth was unplanned for, the family suffered a strained in their finances and has to lead a difficult life. She is almost lonely as her older sister never seemed to like her, neither her parents. Albeit her loneliness, she finds simply joy in her life, one of which is a senior high school senior she had a crush on even though he already has a girlfriend. Yamada Ryosuke is a hearthrob in school and is also a much sought-after model and actor for the school's magazine and the school's drama club. His life however, wasn't perfect. He is an orphan and is restless about life as opposed to Mirai's enthusiasm and determining life goals. He barely scrapes through his promotional examinations every year. He occasionally gets himself into trouble outside. Something happened on a fateful night in his graduating year that have the 2 of them entangled into each other's life. Things though difficult with her parents opposing the relationship, they could feel that they were serious to fight against all odds.
When she finally thought she is getting her happiness, he left abroad with a promise to be back as a better person to convince her parents to bless their love. 2 years was his promise. But the wait expired. He never returned. She faced a bigger problem, unimaginable. When they reunite many years later, would she still love him the way she did, or would she hate him for breaking his promise? would he still hold that spark that brought them together or has he moved on without her?

Name: Yamada Ryosuke
An orphan who lives his life aimlessly. Does badly in school but is sought after by the school magazine and the drama club. He is a hearthrob in school with girlfriends one after another and is never serious about relationships. But it all changed when he crossed paths with Mirai.
Name: Shida Mirai
Youngest child in the Shida family but her birth was unintended. Treated like an unwanted child, she suffered much grievances in her own home. Her eldest sister and her parents did not like her as she caused more poverty in the family. She however live life positively and is determined to be sucessful in life so that she can exit the vicious cycle of poverty. As a scholar in school, she is ostrasized by her classmates as a nerd and is always spotted in the library buried in books. It's not all studying, as she spends random time of the day peeking at her all-time crush, her senior Yamada Ryosuke. Never did she expect that things will change drastically for her, putting her in a state of topsy-turvy where she has to fight for her own survival and struggle between love and hate.
Name: Chinen Yuri
Ryosuke's friend for a long time, and friends with Umika and Mirai. While Ryosuke is bad at studies and is placed in the last graduating class F, Chinen is a model student in class A. President of Drama Club with Mariya, he is popular among girls and has many friends. However, he is slow at romance and would occasionally sought advice from Ryosuke though he usually refuses due to Ryosuke's fleeting love life. He admires Mirai's positivity in life and persuades her not to fall for Ryosuke to protect her from his heartbreaker friend.
Name: Umika Kawashima
Best friend of Mirai. Weak character compared to Mirai, often cries in face of troubles. Secretly has a long crush on Chinen since she joined the drama club in her first year and became friends with him alongside Mirai.
Name: Suzuki Mizuo
Year 2 student and an aspiring model. Met her year 4 senior, Ryosuke at a photoshoot for school magazine and confessed to him. They dated, though it did not end on a good note. Her strong personality puts him off as she boasted her relationship with her friends. However, she did not end her pursuit of his heart and swore to claim back his love. She disliked Mirai because of her close encounters with Ryosuke and became jealous of her when she saw Ryosuke's unusual gentleness towards Mirai.
Name: Suzuki Hiro
Mizuo's elder brother, a rookie acting talent who is starring in numerous small television productions. Does not favour Ryosuke's relationship with Mizuo, and was certain it wouldnt last long but wouldnt care more. He did not have a good impression of Ryosuke too, though it gradually changed. Encountered Mirai from afar through his camera lenses, and was touched by her innocence and perseverance to fight for her own destiny. He fell for her little by little.
