Inspiration comes from the craziest places. Some people look down on Fan-Fiction because they don’t consider it real “Literature” or work worth mentioning due to its controversial message amongst the public. I hope to change that message and add something beautiful for everyone willing and wanting to read my work. I know gay literature isn’t exactly well respected let alone fan-fiction, but I feel differently. I feel proud and honoured to be a part of a culture and site such as AFF that allows me to represent how artists such as EXO, BTS, Block B, and NCT have inspired me to create an art of my own through fan-fiction.

Asian Fan-Fiction is about so much more than the often tagged “-with-a-plot” to me. It’s an opportunity to show my own form of respect. They tell stories through their music, they change my mood, and constantly inspire my 2:00 am writing session to further what they have made and turn that into something everyone can enjoy and interpret in their own way. This is how I support them and I hope that you can also support me for this choice and my reason.
