Love hurts. So what? Life hurts too. And so do wounds and bruises and tummy aches. A lot of things hurt. But hurt gradually simmers down and goes away. It either leaves nothing behind or sometimes a scar, and scars fade too. So, love hurts. But it's a beautiful kind of hurt. The kind whose scars you secretly smile at, even if they pull at your heart despite an eternity of being there. True, love hurts. But love is a gift and so is being hurt. Love tells you how much you can feel, and hurt tells you, you can still feel.
