“Are you ready? The Month of May”
Imagine yourself typing on a computer with crumpled papers lying all around you. You've been at it for hours but you've finally overcome the cursed thing called writer's block. Better yet, you've also defeated the difficulties of wording exactly how you want each scene to happen. One chapter, around 5000 words. It took you 6 hours( spread into two days) to finish it. Just to make your story will be a little more enjoyable to all the potential readers, you go from page one to the last one. Doubts, errors...and doubts. I wonder if they'll like this part with his humors reply and her little prank? What if they don't like this part? Is this even good? What was I thinking? Hundreds of pessimistic questions start to form in your mind, nonetheless you post up the story because you've dedicated your time and effort to it so let the readers have at it. After posting it you head straight to bed. It is after all already two thirty in the morning. And you still have work to do in the morning.
When you wake up, the first thing you do is open up the AFF because you want to check the comments. Your breath hitch, your heart beats a little faster as you click on the orange link reading the words "story comment." Now ask yourself what kind of feedbacks would you like to receive? Nothing? Update soon? Or something the lines of. ;~; I think I'm falling in love with this couple all over again because of your story. I love the subtle ways he shows his love and loyalty to her. I do have a question about their relationship though. So she was pregnant but lost the child, so she demanded a divorce? >.< That seems...stupid and immature.
It can't be stressed enough how much a comment means to a author. Regardless of what you leave behind for the author to read, it's still highly appreciated. As a writer myself, after making a update I look forward to reading on what you thought about the whole thing and the little things. At least one fourth of the reasons why we write is to see what you think. If feedbacks weren't needed, then there's no real need to post the stories on AFF. Right?
For those of you that have read story on AFF, I would like to thank each and every one of you for all the stories you have read a chance. For those of you that have left a comment. Even better, thank you so much for showing your support. For those of you that have left a feedback more than something along the lines of update soon <3, or commenting longer than 10 words then kudos to you. You're words of encouragement has motivated and helped that author to find a need to improve and update more often.
So please you finish reading a story, take your time leave a thought behind because a comment is like the food we need to eat to have energy. It'll take less than five minutes. Your five minutes for a 10 page update, which who knows how long the writer spent on it. Sounds like a worth-while deal. Thank You.
The name's michiusa, but you guys can just call me Michi. XD I've grown rather fond of this name. It has a nice ring to it doesn't it? Michi~ LOL The origin of the name came from my anime OTP and of course my all time favorite anime character. XD Yes, I'm a anime nerd that has now graduated into a Yoona dork. I think it's pretty safe to say that most of you know I'm a very dedicated YoonAddict. However, I'm not a Sone due to lack of fondness for a few of the members. Don't worry though there won't be any bashing since Yoona is a Sone.
Some things you might like to know, I'm lazy, easily distracted and a dependent chatter. XD I get very lazy with updating especially if I'm unsure of how to word the chapter, which then leads to no writing... show me a video Yoona and I'll probably drop whatever I'm doing, including homework, to just entertain myself. XP Dependent chatter, I like to chat especially about stories I've read on AFF and my own. As to the dependent part... I like to get confirmation on ideas for my stories. Is it good? Exciting? XP If you're in the mood to talk just leave something on my wall.
I'm also more than willing to help out other YoonAddicts in writing, grammar, plots and stuff, just shoot me a message in which part you need help on and I'll try to help as much as I can.
People I have grown exceptionally close to since I've joined AFF:
It's_me: XD My most dedicated reader who has been ever supportive of all my stories. I still owe her a Shinee/Yoona drabbles, Shining Yoong
WakingDreams: "Great minds think alike." XD Definitely my brain's identical twin. It goes without saying we have similar ideas before even talking. XP I like to think I can manipulate her to write stories for me.
p.s. I'm not accepting friend requests unless we've talked before or you've commented at least twice on my stories. There's really no point in adding each other if we're never going to talk.
