My man
he puts on a mask because he wasn't sure who he is. a tough boy as he tried to look like, but actually insecure and lonely inside. he couldn't stay still while everyone is in pain, as he'd tear himself apart protecting his loved ones. nothing is more precious to him than the anchor to his humanity, which are his friends. He had been through so many things he shouldn't, yet he would still fight for us. i could never forget the old him, nor the new him. he talks as if he was going to vanish anytime randomly but i know he won't leave us. he dwells in the darkness, but he loves the sunshine, and he's the only one that belongs in both worlds. stay strong kaneki.
