The cold frigid air hits her skin, but she doesn’t give in. She sits perfectly still; waiting for her moment to strike. She waits for that moment where she will glisten in the sun. How long ago did she take the oath to be her own person? She doesn’t even recall the day, but knows that it was only a short time ago. Gone are the days where she relied on someone else for confidence. Now she is her own person. Her armor is the same color of a moonless night. Her hair is wild and untamed, but doesn’t grow past her shoulders. Her voice is quiet, and her heart guarded. She sits and watches the world go by. Every day she feels a little colder; everyday things get a little darker.
