KPop Has Changed My Life

I don't if you have ever faced this problem, but it's something I go through everday. Growing up I had and still have those type of parents that give me everything I want and ask for. They always sacrificed what they wanted to get us what we wanted. Yes, I am happy and thankful for everything they give to me, but for reason there's this feeling I just can't shake. Most days when I wake up I don't wake up smiling, but frowining. I don't feel happy when everyone else is laughing and having fun, but I feel down and a little out of place. I always seem to have this angering demeanor about me. On my face is always plastered a frown. It seems to me that I can never please myself, or neither can anyone else. It seems to me like I live everyday pessimistically. To every good situation I find something wrong with it and to every bad I find something worse. My life seemed like a never ending cycle of anger, sorrow, melancholy, and disappointment. That was until a godsend fell upon me.

I for one never even pondered about foreign music. Eventhough I loved Japanese animes the music to me was just noise made by people to add to the film. I was one of those narrowminded people who only thought of what they could see with own two eyes. One day I was enjoying Blue Exorcist, when I founding an ending song that caught my attention. I looked that song up and it turns out that is was "Take Off" by 2pm. Me thinking that it was a Japanese boy band I looked them up and it turned out that they were actually Korean. I was like, "What?! Korean people singing a Japanese song." So I looked up another one of their songs, which was titled, "Hands Up." After hearing that song I couldn't stop replaying it over and over. Then I looked up another one of their songs, then another, until I realized I was a full out fan of 2pm. I was always asking for their CDs, posters, clothing, etc. Everything 2pm I wanted and HAD to have it. The deeper into I got into 2pm I started to see other groups, like Big Bang, SHINee, B2ST, EXO-K, Infinite, CNBlue, B.A.P., Teen Top, Block B, Super Junior, all groups who I am fans of now. KPop has become a part of me.

Now I wake up, grab my phone, turn on some KPop, and start the day off nice. There's no more running to my room when I'm mad, sad, or just want to be alone. I go instead to the computer and enjoy many episodes of WGM. Life's happier with KPop and I honestly think I coldn't function correctly without. When you listen to this music you don't try to analyze the lyrics and what the singers/rappers are saying, you instead sit back and let the mind wander. All you need is the English name and the few English lyrics thrown in every now and then. It gives your mind that release that it has been waititng for.  

You may not take it as seriously as I do, but we all have our own way of feeling. KPop truly is something that saved me and I hope to hold onto it for as long as I can.

Hello I am Kaela Hunter. I am a 15 year old American. Just because I say i'm an American don't automatically assume I'm white because it's easy to tell that the color of my skin is a nice mix between caramel and milk chocolate, sooooooooo don't be racist and judgemental.

Anyway, back on topic I love KPop and i love fanfics that's why I opened this account. Just so i can read and subscribe to the stories I absoultely love, but I'm going to start writting too because, no offense, some of the stories don't go the way I would like them.
