Description

Love has never been easy for the three of them. He left her for an unknown reason and she had no shoulders to cry on. But the fate brought another man in her life.

“Don’t call me like that, Shim Changmin”

“You are my wife so I have to call you like that. We are the Mr. and Mrs. Shim, right?”

“We’ll see about that when both of us say ‘I do’. Until then, you have to call me Lee Hana,”

“Hana, can’t we marry now?”

Hana hates the awkward silence embraces them. He has to talk to her. He owes her an explanation. But Hana can’t speak as she is filled with mixture feelings of anger and disconsolation.

Why aren’t you open your mouth and clear things out, Shim Changmin? She mentally questions him. Her lips are trembling but still, she hesitates to open her mouth and talk to him. Why is it so hard for her to talk to him? Is it because she knows very well that he is not going to answer any of her questions?

“Hana, will you come with me wherever I go in the future?”

She managed to turn an obvious grin into a slight smile, not to show him how that simple question could sweep her off the ground.

“Of course but are you are willing to bring me wherever you go?"

“You are my oxygen. I’m trying not to sound cheesy here but I know very well that I could not live without your presence,”

“I took that as a promise,”

It is one of the beautiful scenes you can only see in autumn. Brownish leaves are all over the ground and sudden soft winds wakes them and the leaves will swirl as though it were dancing up in the air before settling back on the ground.

But it is also one of the grieving days in Hana’s life. Her body is so weak that a strong gush of wind can push her to the ground. Her eyes are so lifeless. Her eyes were the one Changmin avoided. Her eyes were the one Changmin had fallen for. Her eyes were the one both Hana and Changmin used to see their dreams. But now, it’s gone. Whatever that was in her eyes that made all those things possible is no longer there.

Are you surprised to see me like this, Changmin-ah? Can you see what you had done to me? Can you see what your lies results in me? I’m dying because of you, Changmin-ah. Those false hopes that you gave me are now feeding on me…on my soul…Look at your Hana now!

Uninvited tears are now rolling upon her pale cheeks. She still questioning him mentally but the silence remains. How can she expect him to listen to her unspoken questions?

How can she when Changmin is resting in peace six feet below the ground?
