@spicy_cutlet Sorry late reply but the ones I have tried are Faber-Castell, but Crayola ones are fun to experiment with as well and you can get a larger variety of colors for a decent price.
Ohhhh I prefer charcoal, or a good ole pencil and pen and maybe mix in watercolors. Honestly tho, I feel like when you're an artist, you become more of a perfectionist lol
@Oreoyumyum304 THERE'S NO ART THAT'S BORING, oh my word, that's what I think anyway, haha. Ah, that's alright. It would have been great to check out your stuff though. Artists united!
@Oreoyumyum304 Ooh, nice! Do you have a deviantart or something where you post art? I'd love to see!
To be honest, I'm not that patient of a person either, haha. I'm a slow worker though (oh, procrastination) and sometimes I think the oil dries quicker than I'd like, lol. But it's super fun to work with! Especially if you experiment with abstract, there's so much room for creative freedom, and oils are forgiving in that you can cover up mistakes/take out paint as you wish.
I enjoy both digital and traditional art.
For digital painting, I've been using Photoshop since maybe 2009, but recently I lost it and instead moved to using a new program, Clip Studio Paint, which is a lot like it, but catered for painting/drawing, which is great!
For traditional painting, I enjoy watercolour, ink work, and oil painting. They're all mighty fun. What about you? Feel free to share!
@Tsuanrah As a somewhat realism artist, I have always preferred charcoal. I want to try oils, but I am not patient enough to work with it. XD I have tried digital once and I have no opinion on it really.
