To build a background on the situation, my mother started watching 'The Walking Dead.' There was a loud thumping noise outside the house. My mom commented something along the lines of: "Noises make that have me worried there are Walkers outside."

Prior to this, my mother and I watched 'Downton Abbey' together. Before and after watching the show she constantly talked in a fake British accent and referred to people as 'My Lady' or 'My Lord' for several weeks.
