how characters should get closer

What sort of ways do you like characters to get closer? FOR EXAMPLE, going to an amusement park, being locked into a room together for a period of time, etc

I just need some help with my fanfic and I want to see which scenarios are most popular, so please help!

i don't think what i'm gonna say is a direct answer to your question, but i'm gonna say it anyway. lmao. this will work for intimate relationships, i guess. in whatever situations or activities you're writing about, create between the characters. make it very tensed that you got the readers feeling high, and grinning like a silly fangirl/fanboy/whichever that suits. i remember reading a destiel (nonkpop) story on wattpad, and the writer created high s between the characters in many situations. sometimes it was so tensed that I felt like screaming to the writer to update ASAP because I want the characters to have an actual moment. my advice is to give the moment to readers but never 100%. don't make it easy. build it up until you reach the peak, then you drop that bomb on you readers like BOOOOMMMM!

on a side note, i thought of scenes like one taking care of another when he/she is sick, the characters doing leisure beach activities (kayaking, volleyball, or as simple as sunbathing), doing bad things together (shoplifting, smoking, pranking people) - warn your readers first!, going on a road trip together, or when one waits for the other to finish his/her work shifts (they talk or joke with each other, whatever suits). Use whatever idea you want from the list. I don't mind :) hope this helps.

(I'm just assuming you are talking about non-au (the characters are idols like in real life) stories here)

Depends on the story genre, if it is crack the possibilities are practically endless. Leaders sentencing them to some kind of activity that is supposed to bring them closer (can range from anywhere from chores in the dorm [also as some kind of punishment without the intent of bringing them closer] over locking them up together to handcuffing them together, lol) are great.

If it is more serious, late night talks, frustration over not being able to learn a dance/write the lyrics for that new song and the other person either helping out or simply comforting, more talking. Conversations in general are great.

Amusement parks are a bit difficult in an idol story, but maybe something like teamwork building games etc., I could imagine groups going through these - though you would have to find a way to focus these on the two people in question.

I hope I could somewhat help you!

It depends a lot on the characters. I like the classic café date, lmao. But amusement parks can be fun too, zoos are amazing. Any drunk-party is a great way to meet people too, clubs. Talking on the phone is also nice and seems to be a preferred method of many. But in general, it really depends on the characters and what kind of person they are. If they're outgoing, going to the park or doing something active is amazing while if they're shy the talking over the internet is a really realistic way for people to come closer or the "meeting-up-with-friends" thing can work wonders. ^_^
