Super appropriate! If I noticed someone put my gift in a shipping box/shoe box I think I'd laugh! xD

I use shoe boxes to wrap presents. Any box does it as long as the gift is well protected (in case the dogs decide to push it around). Honestly, in my family, we've been doing that for ages. There is nothing wrong with that in my books.

Honestly that's all I use for Christmas presents. I save the boxes from all the stuff I order online to use for gift giving But yeah make sure to take of any stickers on the box. Sometimes I like the paint the boxes to make them look a little cuter but that's just me :)

My ex mil does that for my daughter. She'll take one of those flat rate shipping boxes and put all the wrapped gifts in one or two of those and send it. My boyfriends family has been known to do that as well.

Coastal Scents has really nice box packaging where they actually printed it so it looks like it's wrapped with blue paper and tied with a white bow :3 Although I'm not sure if you're going to buy your boyfriend a gift from Coastal Scents XD

I personally don't see a problem with it ^^ A gift is a gift, and it's really the thought that counts :) So I don't think there's anything wrong with doing that!
