tikster24 asked if I could make a post that describes everyone in this AU, and since all the stories are posted individually I think it's a brilliant idea, especially if people have only read one or two stories. I'm lazy so I don't know if I'll put a link to this post on every single story but it will definitely be on any new ones I post. I hope everyone finds this informative and helpful. And it pretty much only contains information that has been revealed so far, having recently been updated to be contemporary with the latest update (My Heart Will Go On).

The Agency:
An organization that spans hundreds of planets, dedicated to recruiting talented and gifted young people to join the fight against Intergalactic crime and terrorism. The people who run the Agency are mysterious, but overall good. Many races of aliens have come to trust the organization, which was started on earth in the early 1700s. the Agency’s records document contact between Earthlings and Aliens going back thousands of years, and while alien races have inspired many technological advances on Earth they did not build the pyramids.

Gifts:
Many of the agency’s operatives have what has been called “gifts.” Many operatives refer to them as super powers, others as curses. The Agency has found that such abilities often reach their full power when a person is seventeen, which is why many operatives join the Agency when they are seventeen years old.

Kris Wu/Yifan:
Born and raised on a nameless planet (in a galaxy far, far away), he was selected to travel to Earth as part of the Agency’s interplanetary exchange program when he was fourteen years old. He began his training on his home planet and came to Earth when he was sixteen, where he first met Suho. He’s had numerous surgeries to alter his body and make it more functional, which is a common practice on his home planet. Many of these alterations replaced body parts with machines, thus making him a cyborg. He can sense other people’s emotions and is a skilled marksman. He and Tao have been dating for four years. He recently got in touch with his cousin, Kevin Woo, after an incident when his father was thought to be dying.

Tao/Huang Zitao:
He was trained in martial arts from childhood and eventually discovered that he could stop time. He hasn’t fully explored the extent of his gift, for fear that by doing so he would accidentally affect the past or future. Not much is known about his family. He joined the Agency when he was seventeen and fell in love with Kris shortly after meeting him. Besides Kris he’s also very close to Suho, and is a little jealous of Sehun’s relationship with him.

Park Chanyeol:
Has had an affinity for fire since he was a child, which would cause him to burn himself regularly. After a particularly bad burn when he was seventeen, the Agency found him and took him in. At the time Chanyeol was badly burned and had become addicted to morphine. His addition still affects him to this day, and it’s still hard for him to control his ability. He has a close relationship with Suho, as Suho was the one who was most involved in Chanyeol’s recovery from his addiction. He’s dating Shin Sungwoo, a man who is considerably older than him, much to Suho’s displeasure. He recently warmed up to Shinwoo and even met him. The rest of the team know that Chanyeol is dating and even know Shinwoo's name, but they haven't met him nor do they know how old he is.

Kai:
Born to a mermaid mother and human father. He was rescued by the agency after he was stabbed by a hunter while protecting his family. He is able to teleport, and has known about his ability since he was ten, but never had much use for it. He changes to an aquatic form when he’s submerged in water, and when he dries off he shifts to a humanoid form. His father recently moved abroad and Kai has not had contact with him since. Kai used to meet him several times a year and the two would go into small towns, but prior to living with the team the only other human he knew was his dad. He formed a strong bond with Kyungsoo when he arrived at the safe house, and Kyungsoo was only the second person he willingly allowed to touch him. The two have been dating for two years.

Kim Jongdae:
A renowned computer hacker. It is currently unknown when he joined the agency and why. He is keeping a secret from most members of the team, but has shared his story with Kris. He and Baekhyun have been dating for two years, and he recently revealed that in his free time, he helps local police catch criminals who watch .

Suho:
A Nephilim, the child of an angel father and human mother. He doesn’t know if his father was a Christian angel, or a winged creature from some other religion, or not a religion at all. The truth is that people like him don’t know if God is real, though many choose to believe so. He ended up an orphan and homeless at a young age before being rescued by the agency when he was 12 years old. He grew up feeling like he had no privacy and no space of his own. He therefore has mixed feelings about the agency, knowing that they helped him and help others, but feeling a bit resentful of them at the same time. He can force people to tell the truth and he can fly short distances. He knew for a long time that Sehun had a crush on him. As of part 11, he and Sehun are dating. as of part 13, they have been dating for about a year and a half.

Do Kyungsoo:
Grew up in an orphanage, only known relative is a grandfather, whom he’s never spoken to. He’s a demolition expert and a chemistry protégée, the agency found him after he became the youngest person to win first place in a nation-wide chemistry quiz-show. He has an affinity for Earth, which makes it easy for him to find weak spots in building foundations. At the orphanage he often worked with children who were hurt or angry, which helped him connect with Kai when he first arrived. He can’t swim, which complicates his relationship with Kai, but only slightly. He is quiet and strong, and often thought to be one of the most mature members of the team, despite his relatively young age.

Oh Sehun:
An expert marksman and the youngest member of the team. He joined the agency after he killed a man who was attempting to a young girl. He shot the criminal with his bow and an arrow from over 50 yards away, hitting the man right between the eyes. He struggled with the moral and religious consequences of killing people, but with help from Suho he was able to make peace with his feelings, though the reprecussions of killing a man continue to haunt him due to his job. As of part 11, he is dating Suho.

Byun Baekhyun:
Master of disguise and voice impersonation. He and his ex-girlfriend, Taeyeon, were kidnapped by terrorists and nearly sold as weapons of war before they were rescued by the Agency. Both of them were tortured by their captors and eventually Taeyeon left Earth for another planet, hoping that the change would help her heal. Baekhyun feels guilty for not being able to protect her and often struggles with feelings of being useless. He and Jongdae are dating, and hope to have a family some day.

Lu Han:
Has the power to erase memories, which he discovered when he was five years old and accidentally erased 4 years of memories from his mother’s mind. Since then it’s been his job to make Yixing forget instances in which he’s been nearly kidnapped. He felt incredibly guilty for doing so, especially since he had a crush on Yixing’s boyfriend, Minseok. The three of them have now resolved their respective feelings of guilt towards each other. Though Lu Han started out loving Minseok, he has now developed feelings for Yixing as well, and the three of them have a very happy and loving relationship.

Zhang Yixing:
A shapeshifter like his parents, his animal form is a unicorn, which gives him the power to heal. Unicorn shapeshifters draw energy from the children of s, and Yixing and Minseok were paired up when they were children. if one eats the heart of a unicorn shapeshifter they will live forever, and Yixing was locked away as a child for his own safety. He fell in love with Minseok at a young age and knew that Minseok was confused by his own feelings and felt like he was being manipulated by everyone around him. He knows that Minseok loves him and feels that he doesn’t have to be insecure when it comes to their relationship, so he told Minseok that he’d be okay with having a third person in their relationship. He was very glad when that third person turned out to be Lu Han, and eventually he developed feelings for Lu Han as well. He holds no grudge against Lu Han for erasing his memories.

Kim Minseok:
Yixing’s companion, the son of a . He was angry that he was never given a choice when he was paired with Yixing, and as a child he thought it meant that he would forever be forced to remain in hiding with Yixing. He also felt like he had no control over his own fate, and he was a puppet while everyone around him pulled the strings. Yixing understood this and knew that Minseok did have a point, so he promised that he would be open to Minseok bringing a third person into their relationship. Minseok wanted Lu Han to come to him on his own, but when Lu Han didn’t seem to be taking the invitation Minseok took action on his own (after prompting from Chanyeol). Minseok loves Yixing dearly and his feelings will never change, but he’s glad that he was able to meet Lu Han on his own without feeling like he was being manipulated. He loves Lu Han and Yixing equally. He has the power to form ice by freezing the water in the air, but feels that this is just one more thing he never asked for and has no control over. He suppresses his ability and only Yixing knows about it.

Kim Taeyeon:
Half human, half siren, she can use her voice to hypnotize people. She and Baekhyun were kidnapped and tortured by terrorists, and she left Earth as a way to escape the pain of her past. She currently resides on an unknown planet in a distant galaxy, safe and slowly recovering from her ordeal.

Shin Sungwoo:
A former Agency operative who specialized in torture, the kind which didn’t leave evidence. He retired from the Agency before he was thirty and became a writer. Chanyeol met him in a coffee shop after noticing him in a club, and read his books. Sungwoo sneaks little references to the Agency into his writing, virtually undetectable by all but fellow operatives, which is how Chanyeol recognized him as an Agency member. Sungwoo is not proud of who he was in the past and tries to make up for it by helping people now.

Hero: 
A puppy rescued by the team in part 10. He belongs to all of them, but he's mostly Sehun's dog.
