It's times like this when I'm ashamed to call myself ELF. 

People upsetting and bashing idols for having normal lives is simply not on. So Sungmin is getting married, who exactly died to make you the controller of his life?

Where does it say an idol can't date or can't get married like any other normal person?

Who the do these 'fans' think they are to scream abuse at him for finding someone he loves?

That would be like them finding you and telling you not to marry because then you wouldn't love Super Junior anymore

Pretty sure none of them would want that

This fanbase shows its true colours in moments like this and it disgusts me

An idol having a relationship is a huge thing. Not only is it hard for an idol to physically get out there and meet someone

But telling the public about a relationship is a serious thing and a very big step

Sungmin telling us of this relationship shows how much he values his fans and wants to include them in his newfound happiness

No one has any damn right to demand he stay single and miserable the rest of his life JUST so they can be happy.

You have no right at all to know anything about him or his life that he wouldn't want you to know

It's none of your ing business what he does with who, you're not someone who can order him about like a puppet

ELF who are bashing Sungmin for being a normal person are hypocrites

They say all these things about supporting Super Junior no matter what but then when something like this comes up

They turn on them just like that! es liars and s the lot of these hypocrite fans

You think Sungmin hears the supportive ones like us over you es? No!

The negativity is too loud and too intense for him to notice anything else

Good supportive fans are being drowned out by these es and that's all he hears

So upsetting and making your idol miserable is better? No! It's not like he'll call off his wedding just because you don't like it

He's 28 years old people, he's a grown man he can do as he likes you have no right to say anything otherwise

And if you don't support him then you're not a fan and you can off we don't need people like you

A fandom is not about God-like untouchable people who come from another planet who you worship

It's about people. That's all idols are, is people. And they deserve to have lives just like everybody else

Sungmin is so sensitive we all know that he listens to his fans so all these hate is upsetting him

He's apologising for having a life, how ridiculous is that? He's sorry that people hate him for getting married?

He shouldn't have to be! No one should be making him feel this way! 

When a group of ELF start acting this way, the whole of us get painted in the same light and when that happens it's hard to show that we're different from the haters

And it's very hard to show that to Sungmin himself

I thought ELF were above this kind of childish behaviour, that we were mature enough to realise idols are human

Apparently not. 

I'm ashamed of any ELF who is bashing Sungmin at the moment, and I'm ashamed to be an ELF right now

You're making Sungmin think we all hate him and that's not fair, he needs to know he has the support of the rest of us

I've noticed that it's mostly Korean fans, international fans seem to react better to things like this, but Korean fans seem to be the ones who are the most vindictive and that makes me sick

Because if Sungmin can have the support from ELF all across the world why can't he get them from ones in his own country? Disgusting
