Tiny Bit of Whatever

So, here I am...

Actually I was so disappointed yesterday, about the news of Jessica and everything happen in my office. I think, September just not my month. Or for Indonesian SONE, not me. I'm not a fans, I'm pure admirer.

First, we, Indonesian, received the shocking news about our democracy system of election. We have no more democracy in this land of our mother, not to mention in Aceh people have it rough. 100 times whipped if you're being gay, and only 5 times swear to God if you're someone else's daugther. Yeah, that bad.

Second, my Company, my employees, my family, has been biting my off this month. Great, just great.

Third, the news of Jessica Jung is out from SNSD.... tadaaaaa... amazing. Right on the day where Indonesia supposed to remember the tragedy happens a decades ago; G30S/PKI. What a ty day.

But, okay, enough whining, wipping, or whatever. I manage to talk with one my friend who have been friend with Korean and know something about it. So, in disappointment and whatsoever, I try to listen.

Listen....... which I don't do very well or often.

I am listening, for the sake of miss Jung Sooyeon.

isn't a cutie? ^^

Here's the conversation and with logic (so please, read it with logic and speak with logic with me, no biased, just logic)

This Korean woman is not a SONE, not a BlackJack or whatever fandom. She's just a housewife, with a working husband and stayed in Indonesia. But, she knows how is the entertainment work in her country.

My friend, one of my girl, ask her about her opinion of Jessica's issue and SM. She smile and answered:

It's true, in Korea itself, SNSD is already have their popularity decreased. If you want to know who's the most popular in my country, it's CL.
Why? Because SNSD was forced to be an actress instead of idol, and they're not even good on the screen. I mean, who wants to see an amateur on your screen? It wasn't pleasant at all.
Why SM forced their idol to be an actress? Because the opportunity to get a brand endorsement is bigger if you're an actress instead of an idol.
One sign with brand endorsement worth minimum a 500.000.000.000 Won, and just lately I heard some actor had signed a billion won to be a brand endorsement.
More money, than just a mere idol.

At this point, I see why Yoona has been bleeding money for SM, she's the visual of SNSD, she's having the most CF than the other. Meaning? Money for SM. Basically Yoona is SM money making machine. Did she whines? No.

Here's the other conversation:

Being an idol in my country is the most wanted job, those kid are willing to do anything to be an idol. They're fool, naive and easy to use.
They don't read the contract, all they thought was; "finally I'll be an idol." or so they thought.
Once they grow up, they learn, these kid finally realized that the contract was made to be unfair. The Company has the right to do everything to them, for the sake of the popularity (read: Company's stock) or so it said.

And here I am thinking, Yoona has been made to get into CF as many as she can, under the name of SNSD. Sooyoung, hit number one chart on her new movie, under the name of SNSD. TaeTiSeo, hit the higher viewer for their show, under the name of SNSD. Yuri, was nominated on 50th Baeksang Arts Awards for Most Popular Actress (Film) and won for her role in No Breathing (which I find it crappy), under the name of SNSD.

Everything these girls do, is under the name of SNSD. Why?

BECAUSE SNSD BELONGS TO SM ENTERTAINMENT

Very easy to understand, right?

Did they have anything againts it? They did (perhaps), but what can they do when their hands are tied and their soul were bond by the sacred things called; CONTRACT WITH SM Entertainment?

And here comes Jessica, with all her dreams, her passion and everything.

She wanted to be a designer, she wanted to take fashion school in USA. And her fashion brand, is hers. She launch her fashion brand, by her, with her effort, with the help of Tyler Kwon (I won't say he's her boyfriend, because he's not). That man, help her to pursue her dream, not SM. And Jessica was known as a very STUBBORN person.

SM want her brand to be named under SNSD, but it means, SM will have the advantages of her brand.

Manage to catch up until this part? Dear readers?

Okay, I will continue.

In the end, Jessica did not want, not willing that her brand will be under SNSD name. It hers, and hers only.

Then, drama begins.

YG launch their brand; NONA9ON.
Basically it is YG's, with Bigbang and 2NE1 as the ambassador, presented by Taeyang and CL.

Jealous much? Of course.

Catching up?

SM want Jessica's brand under the influence of SNSD, but Jessica rejects the idea. If your brain so slow and thinking why Jessica is selfish, re-read my statement above. In my opinion, she wasn't selfish, she want something that is hers. And the fact that her members in SNSD supporting her by wearing her shade design by her and under her brand, was proven enough.

But, SM don't get any revenues from Jessica's brand. So, the drama continues.

Jessica stick to her guts, and SM don't like the idea. And why the other member don't help her? Well, that matter I don't know very well, but we can back to the statement where:

Being an idol in my country is the most wanted job, those kid are willing to do anything to be an idol. They're fool, naive and easy to use.
The Company has the right to do everything to them, for the sake of the popularity (read: Company's stock) or so it said.

What will you do if you put yourself in their shoes? My experience for example:

I was hired in my current Company because of my good friend recommendation, he recommended me and fight for me to be accepted in this Company. I signed a contract. But I'm not a fool, I read the contract. And still...
Time flies,  and my friend wasn't doing his job very well and force the Company to fire him.
The director called me and ask me what to do, they want to fire him because he's no longer giving the company advantages, he's bringing the company down. The director asked me if I want to stay in the Company, whether my friend is in or not.
My answer? Yes, I will stay and obey under the company rules.
Am I selfish? You call me selfish? Did my friend will feed me if I follow him out from my current Company? Will he take responsibility for my family? Will he guarantee my present? No. Big fat no. I have dream too.
Why? Because I have to, and the world isn't stop moving even if he gets fired. So, I stay.
I need to get realistic.
Did he feel betrayed? He did.

But as the time move, he is slowly accepting that my decision was the right thing to do. He's still my friend until now.

Catching up?

Now, put yourself on their shoes.

Those tears their shares, and when they refuse to sings Jessica's part, it was enough for me that they hurt. But, they can't do anything.

Life , and reality is .
But, life must go on and people have to move on.

All of us have our own dream.
So, be realistic.

You, SONE, know Jessica and the other eight better than I did.
Do you think soshibond is a bull?

I don't.
Seven years together as SNSD, is more than enough to prove you, that they have a strong bond.
Without that, they are already break in their 1st or 2nd year.

If I were in Jessica's shoes. I'll do the same.
She wanted Blanc to be hers, not under SNSD influence.
She wanted to continue fight with her member as SNSD.
But, SM don't want that.
IF she want to do both, Blanc have to be under influence of SNSD. Which she rejects the idea.
She keep Blanc, she'll lose SNSD.

And life? It's a choosing game.

I'm willing to betrayed my Company.
Cut the contract.
Make a big fuss.
If I see my dream in front of my eyes.

The rest? Assured.

Be good SNSD, be strong Taeyeon, as a leader, everything is on your shoulder now.

I want to memorize them as the perfect OT9

Arrivederci Jessica Jung, lead your life the way you wanted. You manage to go away this far, don't waste it.

You're forever SNSD Jessica, like it or not

And, don't blame it on SM too much. They're doing business, and business isn't forever to please you. These girls are just one of their money making machine, you like it or not.

Remember, talk with logic.
No hatred.
No biased.
No hater.

Talk nicely. If you're not mature enough to accept all my opinion, you can go yourself.

Dude, seriously ^^

Can't catch up? Isn't my fault you're being an idiot.

Remember this:

People/Company may have your life (as I offer my life to my boss for a deal)
But, they will never have your soul
