Here Are The Facts About The Jessica Situation... and my thoughts on them...

Keep in mind that Jessica Jung is my bias in SNSD and I love her... Everyone who knows me knows that...

  • FACT (as stated by SM): Jessica already wanted to stop group promotions, just not this soon.
    • So it's not like she doesn't want to "leave"...
  • FACT: Her post says no justifiable reason
    • Reason: if you can't promote, what use are you in the group? "Insiders" say that the group already knew about all this and they were fine with it until she launched BLANC and she couldn't differentiate between business and personal affairs.
  • FACT: She wants to pursue fashion and no one is saying that she shouldn't but BLANC is based in Hong Kong.
    • Which means she would probably have to travel there often (how convenient that Tyler Kwon is there and he is the biggest shareholder of the company). If her business was based in Korea, it may have been less strenuous.
  • FACT: She returns to Korea from NY with Tyler Kwon on the morning of the day SNSD has a fan event in China.
  • FACT: The other girls were wearing BLANC at the airport, hence they still support Jessica.
    • Means they did not betray her and it would have been a difficult decision to let her go.
  • FACT: SM is a business and I would expect them to be all about business
    • BUT Jessica is not entirely a victim here. You people need to realize that. Neither SM's statement NOR Jessica's posts can be trusted. That is just fact. No one knows who is really telling the truth except the people involved.

CONCLUSION: There's no one party that's entirely innocent or at fault. happens, it's too bad. Think about the other girls and how they are feeling when one of their own decides that her own interest is more important than the group. I'm sure a few or even all of them have thought about their own interests over the course of the 7 years being in the group. And I'm sure there are no secrets between them. Hence the girls wouldn't have so easily "turned their backs" on Jessica. So SNSD if really not at fault here... Neither is Jessica for wanting to pursue her dream but you have to know how to prioritize... and as for SM there's nothing we don't already know about what they are like, so are you really surprised?!

You don't have to choose between SNSD and Jessica. Yes, they will not be the same. But are you a Jessica fan solely? If yes, then I understand how you would not be interested in SNSD anymore. BUT if you call yourself a "SONE" then act like one! Give the girls your support which they need now more than ever. A SONE means you support the group and the group is still here. None of this math that makes no sense business. Yes we are all hurting but if you are a true SONE, stay strong. If this is really the beginning of the end then it's our duty as SONEs to give them a beautiful "goodbye". But who knows... it's not the first time in history that an idol group lost one or a few members...

I'm just tired of this whole thing and it's only been like what? 3 days since news broke out?
And now Jessica's statement came out.
She kinda threw all of soshi under the bus there whether it was intentional or not.
Sica isn't a saint, soshi aren't saints, SM aren't saints either, but I'm sensing a severe lack of good judgement from Sica.
She already had plans to leave the group. Fine. We all get it. But why push forward the launch of Blanc?
Or did she not tell the other members/SM people that she intended on launching it in August? I think she threw them for a surprise and hoped they'd be okay with it. Well, news flash, they were not.
Jess is coming off hella manipulative from where I see things.
>_<
I just don't know what to think anymore.
I am a SONE so I will always support SNSD no matter what.
I will also root for Jessie to find what she's looking for and have a successful brand and future career in the fashion industry.
If she wants to unlock her full potential as a fashion designer, then so be it.
But she shouldn't drag everyone down with her in the process. That is shady as .

I don't like that she had to leave of course, but what was the point of resigning if she had all these plans. To me, it's a little selfish. She seems to be prioritizing her personal endeavors over the group, so I guess I can understand why it happened. And I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the girls are a little ticked. They will probably support her,but doesn't meant they won't be a little upset with her. I feel bad, but I'm trying to look at this from an unbiased point of view.

I'm upset about everything, but I don't know the whole truth. And I don't want to be blinded by the fact that I like her. Sigh, this situation just .. And I feel bad for being so upset about it..
