While in search of a new story, I decided to revisit some of my all time favorites and thought, why not share them here? 
I've read a bunch of great stories on here and LJ and this list is what I would consider the best of the best that I've read so far :)

1. I Carry Your Heart [Chenyin]

6 years later: moving forward in love.

I had just finished rereading this and oh god, I still weep like it's the first time. This fic is everything I ever wanted for a Chenyin fic and words cannot describe its perfection. I love how the characters are presented with realistic complexes and such. Also, Chenyin is perfect. 

2. Muse [Kaistal]

model au. Despite being only eighteen, Krystal is one of the most famous models in South Korea; she’s been the country’s little sweetheart since the age of nine. So when Kai appears, nineteen years old and Korea’s newest bad boy, she tries to stay far away, but when their inevitable meeting occurs, Krystal finds he’s not quite what they say. And when Kai finds out that she’s never been to an amusement park or had a proper birthday party, he takes it upon himself to make her a bucket list and show her how to live life to the fullest.

Hands down my favorite Kaistal fic. I've read so many and none seem to stick or have a lasting effect on me but this one did. I adored Kai's character so much since he was totally not the conventional "Bad boy".

3. Dizzying Confusion [OC/Kai/Kris/Baekhyun] [M]

If you woke up one day after having your life fast forwarded, could you adapt to the present and piece together the past eight years of your life? Even more importantly, would you be happy with what you've become?

Although the author hasn't updated in a long time, I still have hope! The plot twists are flipping amazing and the last one she threw at us had me crying on the floor for quite a while. I love LOVE everything about the OC. I find her so realistic and I'm a er for complicated characters. Also this is the only fic where my top three biases are the mains. YAASSSS!

4. Lullaby [OT12] 

The beginning of the end starts with half the population dying.

Yifan remembers it, when the virus was suddenly announced. The next day, everyone he knew was getting high fevers. Soon they were throwing up blood. By the end of the week, those alive estimated about 4 billion dead.

Three days later, Yifan wakes up feeling feverish.

I don't remember how I found this fic but I found it shortly after Kris' departure and as I was reading it, I just completely broke down. The bromance got to me. Even just the thought of it makes me tear up. Maybe I'm just emotional and cry over everything, I don't know but this one is surely one that hit hard and definitely a memorable one. 

5. To Be Brave [Kaistal/slight Chanlli/Sehun] 

You've made your choice. Now we have to choose you.

I LOVE DIVERGENT AND ANYTHING DIVERGENT RELATED. I went two weeks without Kpop because I fell so hard into theo james' eyes the Divergent series that I saw the movie 4 times in theaters AND read the entire series in a week without stopping. Talk about the life I have... So throw in Kaistal—my otp—and a Divergent AU into one and that is life right there! I literally squeal at every update and cry after reading them because that means one more week of waiting. It's so good...so good.

6. Mind Sync [OC/Sehun] [M]

Marriage is every woman's most beautiful dream. They dream of a perfect marriage, a loving husband and endless happiness. However it seems like every woman cannot have these.

Like I said, I'm a er for angst and complex characters and this story has it all. I also like villains because they're cool. Luhan's character was my favorite while it seemed like most people detested him. Also, this is NOT the average arranged marriage story, not even close. The characters are so locked on and developed, it's hard to get out of them at times.

Like I've said earlier, I've read lots of great fics but these are the most memorable ones and for good reasons too. I hope you guys check them out and of course I read all the EXO classics and I'm pretty sure you guys all have to so why bother to put them on here? Most people seem to fave Anterograde Tomorrow but for me, Arbitrage left the biggest impression for me and seriously the author is a genius because I would never be able to execute a fanfic that flawless with the crashes and cars and everything. Arbitrage hands down is the best EXO fanfic, meanwhile the last sentence of Be Human left me drowning in a pool of salty tears for a few days.
