Basically this news announces that SNSD has renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment for another three years:

I'm absolutely ecstatic about this. I just hate that people are taking in a negative way, saying, and I quote, "Only three years?"
The girls wanted to at least be a ten year girl group, so now, basically their wishes are being granted right now. I only wish that I had discovered SNSD earlier, but that doesn't really matter any more. I'm super excited about this TTS comeback also maybe a couple of SNSD comebacks in the future. Again, completely ecstatic!

Wow nice. I actually think they can go more than 3 years haha. They'll be 26-28 by then, still young enough to be belting out songs haha
