Personality :

As a blood type A girl, she tend to be cooperative with others as she didn't like to create extra trouble for others.  Therefore as a girlfriend/wife in Day By Day, she is always perfectly fine with whatever desicion her boyfriend/husband makes. But the main reason was, she wasn't a very decisive person. She can be fine with any of your decision as long as it don't goes beyond her limits. She creates her own world in her head, planning different surprises for her  couple. Her memory power is high which often results to severe headaches or stress - which is hard for her to get over it unless she gets distracted with other stuffs. However, occasionally, she thinks to much and tend to take depressing thoughts. 

She is very sensitive to the surroundings and is surely unable to sleep when there's the presence of light unless she wasn't feeling well. Yes, of course everyone have their ugly side. For HyunAe, it's of course her fiery temper when someone provokes her. Although she is  sensitive to what others say, she try no to appear so, hence, often bottling up her anxiety in order to get along with others, which may cause her to feel exhausted from constant hiding of her trueself. She tries holing in her emotions until she cannot take it and her temper will explode. When she flares up, nobody would ever dare step close to her. She can go to the extend of hurling things at you - just to throw you out of her 'territory'. Probably you can call up her bestfriends to salvage the problem but that might not be the best way. She likes being alone, just staring at nature without anybody trying to persuade her. But best is for her to get a pet - that'll be the greatest pillar of comfort. You may hear a "Why do I have to care? It's not my problem." or other nasty comments from her when she's mad, but she didn't really mean it, even if she says she doesn't care, she still do - a lot. 

When she meets an obstacle, you can surely sense a pair of eyes that's struggling to stay alive . A heart that's pulling her out as she's slowly drowning into the water . She is someone who doesn't let go easily . A minor setback might just be the biggest obstacle that she tries to overcome even after many failures . Although the quote "In order to succeed, your desire for sucess should be greater than your fear of  failure " have inspired her much but she was still in the process of 'digesting' it. Yes , the true reason is because of her past - that she can't let go . Being a very persistent person , she's still pulled back by her past even after Chorong's persuasion of asking her to "Forget the past". She can't, she cannot believe how a mother can actually abandon her husband and her daughter and just left with another man?! Although her father was crippled, does that mean her mother have to leave them? " Isn't love greater than the burden of taking care of her husband?" She always question herself.

Probably because of her lack of a motherly love that influenced her , she would always go out and feed those pitiful stray cats . Looking at her stray friends always remind her about her life. The cats portrayed really well as herself - Born with lack of love and is out to scavenger at a young age , having to fight for their own life . As she feed her little friends , she really hope that there'll be a benefactor in her life - just like how she act as the benefactor of the stray cats , giving them food to survive . She likes talking to them although it seems more like a monologue , she could feel that the cats knew how she felt and would always rub itself against her , giving her some courage to face the world.

She doesn't feel constrained to point out others' mistakes as she was a very detailed and precise person. She can't stand flaws in an person and would kindly advice them to change persistently which were usually ignored. Despite the fact that she might be the 'perfectionist' that she try to be, she is still a good friend to you and is wonderful in lending a ear to your problems, of course, great in giving you advices - but bad at giving advices to herself.

Probably because of her simplicity of being contented, she can be easily touched by the smallest of things, all she look out for is his sincerity. That is when she is able to warm herself with others when she is able to sense their sincerity and love. Because of the influence of her background, she may be over cautious when she just meet you, therefore, she don't make the first move to start the conversation, which results a very awkward first meeting. But don't be tricked by it, once she's spent more time with you and gets closer to you, it's time for her to reveal her crazy self, the other side of her that only her best friends knew about it.
 

Background :

Borning into the world from a matchmaked couple, never expect life to be good. And yes, the father don't always play the 'bad guy',it was her mother that caused her life to be miserable. When HyunAe was just born, coincidentally, he contracted Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD). After 3 years of taking care of them, she left with another man - leaving her daughter and her husband. Her 'burden' was finally off her shoulders! But the life of HyunAe and her father had been hard since then, leaving a disabled life, her father had no ability to work - or even if he was willing, finding a job was difficult. However, he was still a loving father that showered love for his little girl to the best of his ability.HyunAe was trained to be independent since young, that's the reason why she seemed much maturer than her age. As a three-year-old kid, she was thought verbally by her father's instrution for her, she not only had to take care of her ownself as a young little child, but also her physically-uncovenient father. She had to fend for herself, finding food in the cupboards -huge for her petite size. 

Until the age of 6, she led a hard life, managing her ownself and fulfilling the needs of her father. She didn't know much since she hadn't step out of her four walls all those years. Her source of food that she uses to cook and money which she saved all up came from a lady she didn't know who it was since she didn't understand how complicated her background was since she was the innocent and young kid then. She would stood on a high stool, cooking meals based on her father's instruction and mild little actions. Burning and getting scalded is something she overcomed since young, but her father too, taught her to use the cream to heal her wounds. 

Her love for her father may be boundless, since they went through so much together. Help came when HyunAe was 7, the social workers helped her apply into a school and the government funded for their needs. Having education only at the start of seven years old, while others at four, HyunAe was one of the slower learners.  With her 'never-say-die' spirit, she vowed to do her best and not fail her father, she hated to disappoint him. And with her perserverence and her street-smart way of thinking, definitely she made it to the top student for the level. That was when she finally understood more about what her family background when she went home to asked her father which is when he unveiled many mysteries of her background that she didn't know of. 

HyunAe's parents didn't love each other much, they were matchmaked and only got married to please their parents, giving birth to HyunAe was abit of an accidental birth as her father was drunk at that time. HyunAe's mother wanted an abortion, but her father strongly forbidded, that's when they made the deal to just let her leave once the baby is born. However, the unexpected incident happen and she stayed on for just three years, before she left. Although HyunAe knew that her father was also at fault, she ignored that fact and still respected and loved her father as much as she did previously. She just can't accept that her mother actually left when she's three, with her sick father that a little girl is obviously unable to handle. She can't think how heartless anyone can be.

At the age of 16, she employed a maid for her father as she went on with her studies and worked part-time as a model. Able to manage her time properly, she coped well with both her education and her work until she reached the age of 19, when she officially quit studying to start working full-time as a model. Since she mastered penspinning during her studying days, she decided to go on doing other interesting stuffs like continuing to learn the piano - which she was taught during music lessons in school and it gave her a deep impression because of it's touching music. Not only that, but she also went for courses on ice sculpturing, which she taught she really had a forte in. All this helped her slowly build up her self-esteem, but if it drops once again, she'll take a long time to climb back up.

Despite the fact that she's a model, she has deep interests in music. Her enjoyment of playing the piano and singing really helps her as a destress too. When she's free, she does song covers and posts them up which eventually causes a big hit since she was quite a knowned model. Hence, entertainment companies have been offering her to sign a contract for their company, but she hadn't agreed yet as she didn't know which companies she would sign for. Hoping after being in Day By Day, she would be able to make up her choice. And of course, she hopes hard that she'll not inherit her father's sickness of LGMD or it'll be the biggest obstacle of her life.

∞Park Hwanhee | Father ; 42 years old | Alive but soon die | N/A | Fatherly love, supportive | He was the only person that went through the hard times with HyunAe, hence, the closest person to HyunAe is him. However, since HyunAe had to be out working at the age of 19, she hadn't beem able to go home that often to meet him since her work place was very far from her house, thus she stays at a rented place over there and only visits her father when she's free. But Hwanhee had never blamed HyunAe for neglecting him, and stays supportive of her fulfilling her dream. When HyunAe received news that he passed away during her filming of Day By Day, she couldn't take the big blow and broke down.

∞Lee Hyejee | Mother ; 40 years old | Alive | Boss of a carving shope | (Based on HyunAe's point of view) | Never spent much time with her, HyunAe still didn't know how to describe her as. Heartless? She can't really say that either. She did come back occasionally to give them food and money, she still remembered them and helped them, she still had compassion for them anyway. Therefore, HyunAe was still confused whether to forgive her or not. But HyunAe hopes that she will not meet her, just to avoid making that hard decision on whether to acknowledge her. \

∞Kim Jeesun | Maid ; 30 years old | Alive | Considerate, compassionate, good patience | HyunAe trust her to look after her father while she went out to work. As Jeesun has great compassion and patience for disabled old people, she doesn't mind being the maid of Hwanhee. She's very considerate and understands although Hwanhee has very slow movements. Ideal guy : She likes someone that easily breaks the ice between them quickly and make her feel comfortable with him. However, she mainly feel that trust between them is one of the most important between couples. Without trust, she feels that there's no need for a relationship to continue. Her other half must be truthful to her and not lie - which is beyond her limits. Of course other than just principles, she loves guys that can play the guitar, of course being able sing along is a plus mark. She looks out for these as she really hope to be able to sing and play a duet with her couple. She can't imagine how romantic is it! Of course she likes guys who have aegyo which is able to make her heart melt, but can also show off his manly side. First impression : 

`Seyong ; Since HyunAe wasn't updated about the new KPOP news, she didn't know who Seyong was, but just got a small impression of 'MYNAME' since she always saw it on the internet. This made the little rookie a little embarrassed, but he took it as a chance to give MYNAME a good impression. As they are 'new' to each other, this results it to be a little awkward, but thanks to Seyong's humourous acts and his attractive red hair that HyunAe was charmed by, they were eventually able to slowly warm up to each other.

`Myungsoo ; Yes, he was reknowned for his poker face. And true enough, it was so right! HyunAe didn't really fancy Infinite since their debut, therefore, when she was paired with Myungsoo in Day By Day, she was kinda puzzled. When they first met, he only smiled once and for the rest of the moment, he usually keeps quiet. His hard, cold image made HyunAe feel a little distant from him and she started being cautious. Since they both aren't the type to start the conversation, they didn't talk for 15 minute since the show started - silent awkward period. Until she made the first move.

`Chunji ; Her bias from teen top! Definitely, he lives up to her expectations. As the super enthusiastic lead vocalist, when they first met, he couldn't stop talking which made things so comfortable for HyunAe. She was really happy to have him as a partner since she was a fan teen top and knew a lot about him through othervariety shows he was in. Thus, she didn't feel that awkward or restrained with him.

Couple Story:

`Seyong ; The noona-dongsaeng-like couple. Although Seyong is older than HyunAe, Seyong is always playing as the childish dongsaeng and HyunAe is always playing as the mature noona. It's definitely because of Seyong's aegyo and his humour to make a smile on her face after getting the news of her father's death. It may be a big blow to her, but Seyong can do the trick! This wonderful dongsaeng-like never fail to make her laugh with his random jokes and Jo kwon-like dance. But of course there's still times where he play the charasmatic hero that shields her from the rain.

`Myungsoo ; Her hot chocolate romance. Despite her bad impression of him when they first met, their relationship slowly improved day by day, just like the name of the variety show. He became more caring towards her and opened himself more to her. Firstly, he met her ideal point of being able to play the guitar! As they got closer and knew more about each other, he made a point to learn the guitar tab of Falling Slowly, which his initiative surprised HyunAe much and really touched her a lot.  Being the romantic face of Infinite, known for his pineapple-like character, it was sure true that he was hard and cold on the outside but warm and sweet in the inside. During the cold winter days when he used his jacket to cover her, hugging her to give her warmth, it all proves so. Including the fact that he holds her hand tightly when they enter a haunted house, moving first before her - it was all her ideal 'sense of security'.

`Chunji ; The big teaser. As they got closer, the cheeky Chunji would always and try to make her jealous by winking at other fangirls. This made her a little angry and jealous, as if it's drifting the couple apart, but Chunji is best at winning her heart back! Just by singing a little stanzer of Nothing Better [ Nickhun's example ] , she'll tear with a happy renuinion. But this doesn't work all the time, once it's beyond her limits, Chunji will have a hard time. However, he still like teasing her and would always challenge each other to do missions, which that's the only way HyunAe can get back at him, causing him ten times the embarassment.

`Seyong ; Just like a playful dongsaeng, he gives random surprises to her, treating her to the best of his ability, not failing to let her down. He may not be good at being romantic since he always spoil it with his cute laughter, but there are times where he knew how to be serious and care for her as a boyfriend/husband.

`Myungsoo ; The quiet, gentle actions that easily catched the heart of HyunAe. He keeps many secret surprises that are not easy to be seen through, all are done with deep sincerity. Always has a method to win her back once they got into a lover's quarrel. When their quarrelling, he moves nearer to HyunAe, till this [ X ] near, and he'll steal a kiss from her. Kinda weird tho >< ) He may catch up with her ideal type any time sooner, but of course he do have his flaw, which drives HyunAe real mad.

`Chunji ; Although he's the cheeky guy who frequently make her jealous and angry, he has his sweet side too. His wonderful vocal that melts her heart everytime he sing. Especially when he sang Teen top's The Back of My Hand Brushing Against, that was when she cannot resist her tear from falling down her cheeks. Despite the fact that he likes teasing her a lot, he respected her much as a boyfriend/husband.

Interaction : 

`Seyong ; Of course with a dongsaeng-like personality, HyunAe was very sure not to break his heart(Despite the fact that he's older). She'll be the perfect sweet girlfriend/wife that she can be, feeding him, pecking him on the lips and such.But she try not to be as lovey dovey as possible since it doesn't fit his happy-go-lucky behavior. Thus, she tries to be more on the 'fun' type, which might make her exhausted at times because she wasn't those 'active type'. However, she feels that it's worth it - for him.

`Myungsoo ; Although he might be the 'hot chocolate' of her eye, there are times when he can disappoint her deeply when he act ignorant to her rare requests. That's when she gets really angry and would ignore him until he wins her back. Of course, at other times, she likes caressing his face and looking into his eyes. Between them, romance is something they'll keep up everyday, they cannot spend any day without giving each other a small peck unless they fight. Their token of love, is of course 'A cup of hot chocolate with a heart designed on top of it' which is HyunAe's speciality!

`Chunji ;  To play up with his cheeky way of treating her, she does it back to him too! Just randomly pushing him into the water when they're at a swimming pool, or even pulling his ear when he winks at other girls. But above that, she can be the sweet and gentle girlfriend/wife that is always by his side whenever he needs her. She can just be charmed by his angelic voice when he's performing up on stage, just like a changed person, which kinda make her regret for treating him so bad as he just , and she physically 'mistreated' him.  

Dream Date : Just doing voluntary work at Animal Rescue Korea (ARK) may be simple, but unexpectedly, it's HyunAe's ideal dream date. Going amusement parks and sit thrilling rides isn't her cup of tea. As a person who loves nature and animals more than anything, she feels that spending time with her boyfriend doing something meaningful with animals is something fun yet can be romantic at the same time. Bringing her 'dog friends' out to walk at Seoul Forest and including the fact that her boyfriend is there, is just seemed like  a married couple bringing their kids out to play. As Seoul Forest is a very peaceful place, all the more it meets to HyunAe's ideal date's venue. Just a quiet place where she can be with her lover with her little 'kids' is just the place for her. Including the facilities like horse-riding over there, it's really the place she want to be. 

About children : Frankly, she wasn't really fond of kids that much, as she prefer animals. That's because she didn't have any experience with kids before, unlike animals, which she always played with since the age of 12, in her neighbour's house. But who knows she might have a change of heart through Day By Day? Having the first experience with children. Preferably she thinks having a sweet little girl aged about 3-4. As HyunAe is more of a clean freak, she hates doing dirty job, which means, baby aged 1-2 might be too stressing for her. As for the reason why she prefers girl to boy, it's probably because she can't take boys that are too rough and over active, but she prefers sweet little girls that she can dress up into, like a pretty princess.  

Propose : It doesn't have to be announced to the whole world about it by making it public, he might get bashed or maybe HyunAe herself too. But just him playing an instrument and singing out his confession instead of saying it out. Of course, it must come with a little 'contract' that he must seal with his lipstick(By putting lipstick and kissing it). With this, she can never reject his proposal! Diamond rings or expensive gifts? She doesn't need it! But maybe a pet that is adopted(Not buy), or even if it's just to foster it, she'll be touched deeply.

Why do you wanna be chosen? "I have not been loved or even loved a guy, excluding my father. Also, I didn't have much guy friends since I came from a girls' school. Through Day by Day, I hope to be able to mix around boys more comfortably and also to experience love more openly as I coudn't really understand love from others except for fatherly love. Being loved by fans is different from it, this love in Day by Day is none other than the true fantasy of what normal couples on the street go through. Being a known model, I think dating isn't a really good idea as I didn't want to disappoint my fans. As Day by Day is a variety show, I just hope to be able to try out what couples actually do, and the mutual feeling they would have for each other. And about kids, I am actually very constrained to think about giving birth since my family line had the LGMD sickness that I may have inherited, I don't want to see my child suffering, Since Day By Day gives you a chance to have a child, I really want to take this opportunity to have a kid that's just as if she was my own, to care for it and be like a mother for once. Through it, I hope to be able to find my dream company too, if possible, same as my couple, I guess?"
