By now I'm sure you're all aware of the fact that Sulli is now confirmed to be dating Choiza of Dynamic Duo.
A lot of us have definitely lost hope in Taelli (including myself), but now we know for sure that they did date back in 2010.

How, you may ask?

Taemin was interviewed on "KBS-R Cool FM: Lee Sora's Gayo Plaza" today. One of the questions sparked an interest.

"Lee Sora: When was your first love?"

And Taemin's answer?

"Taemin: 17 years old. it was an unrequited love but i see it as a good memory."

Taemin was 17 years old back in 2010, during the era we all know as Taelli era.
And, just to serve a reminder to those who forgot: they were spotted at Subway, both wearing grey.

So in a nutshell, Taemin has basically confirmed that he dated Sulli back in 2010, and that it wasn't simply a friendly outing.

Okay, now onto my own delusional analysis on Taemin's current situation.

He says that the love was 'unrequited', which in short means that he thought she didn't love him back. 
Perhaps this assumption of his had became more apparent when SM announced that Sulli and Choiza were official. 
(which may I add, was just the day before this radio interview)

But he doesn't regret dating her. He sees his time with Sulli as a 'good memory'.
He's not spiteful of her or trying to forget about her.
Could this mean that he still has feelings for her, however small they may be?

Update: I found the video to see how Taemin talks about the unrequited love. The section starts around 38:36.
(Note: I'm not fluent in Korean, I only know words here and there, below is a //rough// translation that I did.)

Lee Sora: Did you have a first love?
Taemin: There was... yeah.
Lee Sora: When was that? Do you ever wonder about your first love?

Honestly, I couldn't translate the rest, but just from what I translated above I know that he definitely talked about it, and for a while too.
(I'm actually waiting for a proper more detailed translation of what he said, and as soon as I find one I'll link it here but I think in short it's the same as the short hand translation from the source before mine.)

He wasn't trying to avoid the question and move on quickly, he actually explained it.
But at the same time, he was quite hesitant in answering? He was stumbling on his words. He seemed significantly more quiet when talking about it. Almost thoughtful?

It was kinda unfortunate that his expression got blocked off by the microphone. But we got to see his eyes. He didn't look too upset actually, more reminiscent. He even chuckled a little as he was talking about it.

I suppose we'll never know how Taemin truly feels about Sulli. Maybe he's accepted that she's moved on, and is okay talking about it. I think the main thing to take from this is that Taelli did happen, but it was a thing of the past, and that Sulli has moved on. Whether Taemin has or not is something we'll never know, but as long as Sulli and Choiza are together, it'll be very unlikely that Taelli will ever get back together.

But hey, at least we know that they did happen, and that we're aren't all as delusional as we think.
