SM Entertainment has taken 8 awards home from Germany's '2014 Red Dot Design Award'!

 
The label won 8 awards in the 'Communication Design Award Package' division with the album covers of Super Junior's 'Mr. Simple', Girls' Generation's 'The Boys', SHINee's 'The Misconceptions of You/Me/Us' and 'Sherlock', f(x)'s 'Electric Shock' and 'Pink Tape', and EXO's 'MAMA' and 'XOXO/Repackage'. 
 
The 'Red Dot Design Award' is called the Oscars of the design industry, and is one of the 3 big design awards in the world along with USA's 'IDEA Award' and Germany's 'iF Design Award'. The judges award the design products without any information about the company, but on the innovation, aesthetics, usefulness, function, concept, and project impact.
