SHINEE NOT TO HAVE A COMEBACK THIS YEAR.

According to this article Minho in an interview in Shanghai for Étude House, reveals there are “no concrete plans” for SHINee to have comeback any time later this year. However we shall see SHINee in performances and also SMTOWN.

I think this is a good idea for SHINee by SM. It gives the boys a chance to relax. Onew gets more time to recover. Jonghyun is still busy with his radio show. Key will be starting his ‘Zorro’ Musical. Minho has been really showing off his athletic side attending soccer games on KBS & Music Core MC. It also gives light to our youngest member with this solo debut upon us. Taemin will be able to put his full effort and attention.

What are your thoughts? Are you ok with no comeback from SHINee. Are you anticipating Taemins solo debut?

No SHINee Comeback this year?? This statement could very much be true or it could be SM totally trolling us. SM could lock SHINee in the closet until next year or release a surprise MV out of the blue. Only the management knows. 

Of course I'll be upset if there's no 2014 SHINee comeback. With Big Bang on a God-only-knows-how-long hiatus and B2ST comeback two months pass SHINee was my only hope to see my favorite groups before the year ends. But as a faithful and patient Shawol I must endure. There's still Vixx, Exo, BTS, BAP, Infinite...ect to look forward to but they don't possibly compare to your bias group.

If I don't get a comeback I'll be heart broken Yes, but maybe it is for the best; for the reasons they named - Onew's recovery. He has been getting injured a lot lately (far more serious than Onew Condition) and he probably needs rest. Jonghyun has his radio show and he's been producing music. Key and Minho are always busy with Musicals, Dramas, and hosting shows. And Taemin's preparing for his solo debut!! Woo!! So excited XD

More importantly (to me) I rather SHINee not comeback in a trainwreck of a year. SM is a hot @ss mess right now. You already now what's been going on at the pink cheap company. I don't even have to mention it. I don't want petty scandals to form around SHINee during their promotions. Now this might be me being superstitious but I'd rather them hold off some months if it means the shinning 5 stays clear of rumors.

Unlike with f(x) I don't have the right to complain about no comeback either. Last year we got way too much than expected. 3 Korean Comebacks/albums. A couple Japanese Comebacks/album. They were being too kind. But I accepted the gifts whole heartedly. I don't have a problem with them focusing on solo activities. Better yet I wouldn't mind seeing Key in more musicals or Minho in more dramas or Onew singing OSTs or Jonghyun collaborating with other artists or Taemin debuting. As long as they are happy and healthy :)

So basically, 2014 is a SHINee desert, and Taemin is our oasis...
