It. Happened.

Hey everyone,

It's been quite a while.

I'm sorry.

I don't have the proper words right now, but last night was absolutely amazing. Last night I was able to be a part of something very meaningful to me and incredible.

After almost 3 1/2 years of being a dedicated fan, I was in the audience to greet Block B in the United States for the first time.

It's almost surreal to think about the entire experience. I was about 9 rows back from the stage, which could sound like a lot, but it was less than 20 feet from the stage. So the view was pretty good if I do say so myself.

The guys walked out and Very Good began to play, and I have to admit, I couldn't believe I was truly seeing them in person with my own eyes. All in all I cried a whopping seven different times (jongdaemnation says one for each member). I literally just couldn't contain my joy and absolute happiness.

I feel terrible, because I can't properly articulate the feelings I have after the show. The boys truly put their all into giving the best performance for their American fans, and I will always be grateful for their dedication to us, just as we are dedicated to them.

I was given the opportunity to participate in a hi touch with them as well (for those of you who don't know what a hi touch is, the venue basically lines the group up and you get to run down the line and hi five them). If I can remember the line from when I ran out, it was Jaehyo, Tae-Il, P.O., Kyung, U-Kwon, B-Bomb, and Zico. The people running the event were actually pushing people ahead to move faster, so rather than trying to think of something to say, I would cherish every second and briefly thank them all in their native tongue, rather than thanking them in English (which they were doing to the fans).

Jaehyo was quite enthusiastic (even though it was quite obvious he and the rest of the guys didn't really have any energy left). He was also quite good about making eye contact with every fan. Tae-Il was smiling brightly like the precious baby he is. I noticed after I managed to thank him his eyes followed me and he bowed quickly. When I thanked P.O., he stopped mid English "thank you," and shouted "OOH! Kamsahamnida!!" and bowed also. Kyung was an uber grease and lapped up every second of physical contact with the fans. He, too, acknowledged my feeble attempt at Korean and nodded his appreciation. Same for the precious and attractive U-Kwon. By the time I got to B-Bomb I was being shoved forward to move faster, so my thanks became quicker. B-Bomb appreciated it too, and I saw a quick nod my way. And then there was Zico. The poor kid looked absolutely drained of energy, but he was clearly trying for the fans. For him I managed as much of a 90 degree bow as one can while being pushed forward with a thanks. Our hi five was so quick and powerful that as I was leaving the force of it knocked my hand into my forehead.

...Hope he didn't see that. I must have looked like a dork.

But suffice it to say I TOUCHED THEM. While it wasn't exactly the grand first meeting I would have preferred (especially with my meeting with Zico being so brief and unremarkable), I made sure that my thanks to each of them for their time and efforts was sincere and heard, and I did just that. Sure, in their minds it might have gotten lost in the shuffle, but I said what needed to be said, and I know I was a part of reminding them that what they do isn't necessarily their jobs- it's their lives, and they enjoy it.

I love them all so terribly much, it pained me that the event ended so quickly, but I got to see them in person, and I've never been happier. I am planning to find a way to see them again, because...well, what hardcore BBC WOULDN'T want to see them again? XD

My words still aren't exactly doing this experience and my feelings justice, so I shall share with you a couple pictures of my night (one of which features the lovely jongdaemnation). I unfortunately didn't get many decent pictures because of the lighting nor video because I was crying too much to hold my phone steady for more than 20 seconds.

This second picture I edited. While the boys were facing the opposite side of the venue (it was a round stage so they were constantly changing directions), jongdaemnation suggested taking a picture of their backsides like their promotional pictures before debut. I think this picture shows how far they've come, and how much farther they will go. Zico even said last night, "Started from the bottom, now we're here." <3 Hope you all enjoyed my little rant~
