Fashion style:

Soomi seems to be a lady-like woman: she loves to wear skirts, dresses, and a dress-like top. When she's wearing a skirt, she usually likes to wear a large, loose sweater or a simple shirt with a jacket. For dresses, she usually wears a denim jacket that hugs her thin waist. Soomi is seen wearing very loose, thin sweaters whenever she wears her pants. She doesn't like jeans are prefers to wear leggings, complaining how jeans bother the way she wants to sit. She likes to put on headbands or keep her hair loose, too lazy to put her hair into a pony tail (even in hot weathers). She will only wear a hat when she is forced to be the stylists or when someone gives it to her as a gift. Soomi wears bright, colorful clothes that complements her skin tone, claiming that the bright clothes help her "keep her smile." For shoes, Soomi prefers to wear sandals with straps on them. However, during the winter and autumn, she wears high-heel boots and a long overcoat. In addition, she keeps a scarf over her neck during the winter, using her eye-smile to charm her fans instead of her smile, which "blossom" during spring. For airports, Soomi is seen mostly wearing pants, usually short pants (unless it's winter). Still, she does not wear jeans, knowing that she would be annoyed if she ever wore them. Compared to Soomi's formal wear, there is not much difference from her casual except for that she will often wear a cute hat or more make-up. At night, Soomi would wear nightgowns rather than a pajama set, and sometimes she would have a robe during the winter.

Appearance: Soomi is 165 cm tall and weighs 45 kg. She has a rather small face, but her long, brunette hair hugs her face to create a nice egg-shape. She has small eyes and will put a lot of eyeliner to make them stand out, especially when she does an eye-smile. Having thin lips, Soomi usually widens her smile by flashing her teeth, which are somewhat straightened. Soomi takes care of her skin to the point where she will refuse to put a tatoo or anything else that could stick to her skin. However, she does have a scar on her ankle where she burned it with boiling water.

Personality:

(lady-like, mother-like) Im Soomi is very lady-like, not to mention a bit spoiled. She loves the feeling of recieving love, especially since she grew up having almost everyone in her life love her. Soomi will restrain herself from doing anything that looks impolite or messy, such as digging into a buffet or sitting with her legs split open. The young girl will often criticize people who do not have common manners, and she refuses to "breathe the same air" around disrespectful people. However, Soomi tries to be gentle with her words by surgar-coating them, which seem to do nothing. She hardly gets mad, and will bottle up her feelings until someone talks about a touchy subject. When someone unlocks her buried feelings, she will break into tears and cause a commotion. Therefore, she tries to vent out her anger by writing them in her secret diary that she always keep with her bag.

(rebellious, clumsy) She is very quiet and soft-hearted–or so she seems. Despite having a welcoming, friendly aura around her, deep inside Soomi is quite rebellious and clumsy. When someone talks bad about those she cares for, she will politely walk up to them and start talking bad about them while smiling. This tends to create an uncomfortable, awkward atmosphere that Soomi can't seem to read. Whenever she is angry, she will also write them down in her diary and criticize anyone who stands in front of her sight. For Soomi, when she is nervous or in love, she tends to be clumsy. She will trip on flat floor, bump into random people, or forget specific items that she had to bring. Being the own who received love, Soomi isn't sure how to share her own love and often fail on getting a boyfriend or even a friend.

Background:

Soomi grew up in a family where they loved her dearly. Being the only child, she was spoiled with presents and gifts that her parents bought her. At the age of five, she moved to Seoul because of her mother's job. Like a normal child, Soomi went to elementary school. However, one day, a guy she liked told her that she wasn't like a girl and that she was more of a tomboy, hurting her feelings and thus having her go to an all-girl's school. From then on, Soomi always had trouble communicating with boys, especially those whom she had a crush on. They would always eventually find a girlfriend, leaving Soomi to find a new crush. She was popular and was elected to be the class representative for a record of four years (from middle school to high school).

In her first year of high school, she was scouted by an agency from her looks. At first, Soomi had refused since she felt that her studies had to come first. However, she was quickly persuaded to audition when she realized that she could be loved even more if she was famous. Therefore, she joined the agency and was accepted after her fourth audition. As a trainee, she began to hate herself when she realized that she could not sing or rap as well as the others. However, she had a talent for acting, and she decided to practice acting until she realized that it would be difficult to debut as an actress. Therefore, she went back to practice singing, and grew to love music. With her skills in piano, Soomi gradually began to improve and became a decent singer.

Family:

father | Im Song Gook | 45 | mechanic | alive

Song Gook is a blissful, old man who loves to spoil his only daughter. He will take off a day of work just to be with his daughter, even if it's for a good cause or not. He is more like the mother of the group, since his wife usually comes back home late at night. He knows how to bake and cook (he tried to teach Soomi how to make ramen, but that only ended up burning her ankle). Ever since he hurt his daughter, he was extra cautious of her whenever she was in the kitchen.

mother | Kim Aeri | 43 | business woman | alive

Kim Aeri is a workaholic. She loves her daughter, but work is her number one priority. She often comes back home late at night, tired and sore. It's easy for her to get promoted in her job. From working hard to getting her work done early, it's no wonder that the boss loves her! She gets worrisome whenever Soomi decides to take extreme risks (such as being class representative or being a trainee). Her mother moved even closer to Soomi's training dorm just so that she can greet her once in a while when she has the time.

Best friends: ( optional, 2 maximum; follow the format below )

Song Ye Eun (OC) | 21 | college student  | alive

Ye Eun is the complete opposite of Soomi. She is loud and wild, often getting the two kicked out of café or library from being too noisy. She has a wonderful voice, but she decides to stick with studying, unlike what Soomi did. Not only is Ye Eun a very social person, but she tends to say random rumors that come out of nowhere. Whether they are true or not, she knows how to become the gossip queen.

The two met in middle school at the all-girl's school Soomi attended. Ye Eun was also Soomi's first best friend, not to mention her only true fruend.

Friends:

Kim Dabin (OC) | 20 | photographer apprentice | alive

Dabin is calm and collected; she's the coolest girl that Soomi has ever met. Dabin is usually seen near the computer, photoshopping any photo that looks awkward. She always has a camera around her neck, just in case that there was something that she has to take a photo of. She has a strange for abs. Despite having a weird interest, the two met and became good friends after Soomi discovered Dabin's .

Besides being a drummer, he is also known for being an actor and a singer.

Her friend, Ye Eun, soon convinced her to try out, and so she did. After failing a few auditions, Soomi finally got in and became a trainee. In the beginning, she was discouraged to continue since there were so many people who were much better than her. Soomi knew that she couldn't sing as well as the others, nor could she rap. However, she loved acting, so she decided to learn how to act more than singing and rapping. Later, she was encouraged by Ye Eun (again) to try dancing, which Soomi began to enjoy doing. She found dancing as a new fun way to lose weight, and began to get better at it. As Soomi gradually began to improve, people took notice of her and more competition came. She was mostly looked up to since she was a role-model (she was able to balance her school life pretty well with the help of her parents).
