Okay, this first blog post of mine is to celebrate AFF 5th anniversary. And I don't think I will write blog posts regularly from now on--just for special occasions like this, I think. I don't really have to write my thoughts here in AFF blog, and I don't want to take up too much space in AFF for posts with no purpose xD

So, let's proceed with the questions chunlocked made.

1. How and when did you come across the site?

December 2010, because I've been tracking dbskgirl4ever's stories in winglin and she said she had moved to AFF. I didn't really remember what was the first story I read, but I'm sure it's hers ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. What was your first username?

It was and still nizzyool. I've been thinking to change it to lavenderchoco or pinkytooth or the most recent one, chocochen, but nah, I think I'm gonna stick with nizzyool.

3. Why did you continue to stay?

Because I find AFF is the most user-friendly fanfiction site for someone who doesn't bother to learn about codes and all edit-thingy like me. Well, there are tons of users who are very good with codes and design and all things, but I am still able to enjoy AFF to the fullest without the need to learn about those things.

To be frank, dbskgirl4ever is also one of the factors. I know her haters are as much as her fans, but for me, dbskgirl4ever will always be a special case. She was the one who introduced me to this site. I have been reading her stories since her earliest ones posted in winglin (short in length, but tons of chapters, can-it-be-more-cliche, and don't forget: speedy updates). She is not the best author here; she is still lacking here and there, but as one who has been following her stories for years, I can say she has improved. The characteristics of her recent stories are quite the opposite of her earliest ones. Her stories are a good example for "improving for the better" :D

Oh, and another random reason is here I can find some good, dedicated authors of ChangYoon, YunBoa, and ChenYin^^ (and the very rare speciments: authors of TRAX and Homme)

4. What are some of your favorite things about the site?

Hmmm, I don't really optimize all features provided here... but my favorite is the bookmark feature \^0^/ I know it's a very basic feature and almost all sites have it but heey I love bookmarking!

5. What's something you would love to see on the site in the future?

On the contrary with majority of the users, I don't want AFF mobile app. I mean, we can access this site just fine from either desktop or mobile, so why bother having mobile app? And when I heard about how expensive the price we need to pay, I just wish Boss drops the idea to go through troublesome process of getting the app :|

One thing I really want to see is a more complicated filter so users (especially underage ones) will not be able to access restricted items easily (but then again, those users will most likely to cheat those filters -___-). I know most users will disagree with this, but this is just my personal thought /shrug/
