Guidelines
There are some who refused to take part in competitions because “someone has to lose”.
But if you don’t enter, "you certainly won’t win.”
And there will always be someone that will win.
We’re looking for ChanBaek stories! If you think you have an idea or a plot you want to write, why not do it?
It will not only enhance your abilities, it can also give joy to other ChanBaek shippers.
There will never be enough ChanBaek fanfiction.

Sign ups begin: January 23rd, 2014

Prompt Submissions: February 8th, 2014
Note: You have to submit your own prompt or you can choose from the ones included in the list.
Once you submit a prompt, you cannot change it.
So we will know how well you relate your story to the prompt you made or choose.
Draft Submissions: March 25th, 2014
Complete stories Submissions: April 7th, 2014
Postings begin: April 15th, 2014
Voting begins: April 22nd, 2014
Voting ends: April 30th, 2014
Announcement of Winners: May 6th, 2014

You can choose other side pairings as well, or you can pair up Baekhyun or Chanyeol
with the others to spice up your story but the main pair should be Chanyeol and Baekhyun.
The protagonist might be Baekhyun and the antagonist is Chanyeol or the other way around.
All up to you, buddy.
It is not necessary that they end up together.
I repeat, it is not necessary that THEY END UP TOGETHER. Again, it’s all up to you.
Word Requirement: There is a 3,000 word minimum requirement.
You can write up to 100,000 words, it’s fine.
Beta: It will be better if you have a bets but it’s not required,
and if your beta wants to join the contest, he/she is allowed.
KRW TIME: For the submissions, postings and other stuffs,
we will be using the KRW.

Prompts: You can freely choose which prompt you want.
You can also make your own. But changing the prompt once you submitted is a no-no.
Deadlines:
· Missing the prompt submissions equates to disqualification
· Not meeting the draft submissions means ineligibility to continue with the competition
· Failing to submit the fiction on time will not be entitled to proceed.
· Strictly, there will be no extensions.
The winners will be determined through the following criteria:
Originality 20%:
Participants are given the chance to freely choose whatever prompt they want.
Given this, originality of the work is at stake.
Plot/Storyline 30%:
The story line is vital. It can make or break your story.
A good plot with errors will always be better than perfect grammar with poor story line.
Grammars can be corrected but the way you think and come up with a great story will always be a talent!
Creativity 10%:
Being creative does not entail writing a 50k-word vomit or choosing a superhero AU or other bizarre AUs
It only means that you can come up with a story that you can spice up to make it interesting.
Grammar 5%:
There are persons who will always be picky when it comes to grammar
but we understand that we are not professional writers nor we can pay professional editors.
Fan fictions are created by fans and not by professionals so it’s clearly understandable if some may have grammar lapses.
But grammar is included in the category so that the fiction that you will be writing
will not only have a creative and original plot but also less grammatical errors.
Flow/Pace 15%:
The flow of the story will be a crucial aspect because it sometimes causes misunderstanding if not well written.
Make sure that the pace of your story will not be dragging and the flow will be smooth.
Public Vote 10%:
Readers will have a chance to vote for the stories they love. A voting poll will held from April 22nd-30th.
