Jisoo's clothes depend on two factors: simplicity and how comfortable it is. She often opts for the tomboy way out, either wearing jeans or shorts. She prefers to wear darker colors because she thinks it suits her better than lighter shades. But in the end, she'll wear anything that covers the necessary body parts without looking like trash. She's not a total fashion diva, but is sensible enough to know what clothes match and what clothes look like a train wreck.

At home, she'll be found in nothing other than pajama shorts and baggy T-shirt or tank top. She likes pajama bottoms with cute animals on them, but would be too embarassed to wear them anywhere else, so she prances in them around at home. Her hair is almost always in a messy bun around the dorms and her house.

When out and about, her casual ware takes on a street fashion sort of theme. She'll most often be found walking around in ripped blue jeans/shorts, loose shirts and big jackets/hoodies, and hightop shoes. If she's feeling just a bit fancy, she'll wear black high heeled boots instead of hightop shoes. She will often pair this look with her hair let down and loosely curled, or her hair in a high ponytail.

As for formal occasions, Jisoo is a lace addict. She loves wearing dark-colored, especially black, mini dresses with lace, because it makes her feel very "fancaaaay" and princess-like. The dresses she chooses are often form-fitting and flatter her figure. She likes matching her lacey dresses with an up-do hairstyle as well.

Practice is when her inner hobo comes out. Hello to extremely baggy sweatpants and loose hoodies and V-neck shirts! Her hair will be let down, but she'll be wearing a snapback hat or beanie. This is the time for comfy sneakers. She'll allow herself to wear clothes of lighter color, maybe be so adventurous as to wear a neon colored hoodie.

   "sassy to the bone" // Sassy is just her own unique brand of humor. She's particularly witty with her words and sassing back to people is just her way of showing how comfortable she is with them and how she wants to make them laugh. She likes to share her thoughts in this way. You can especially tell that she's just joking by her sly smile when she's teasing you. Heartless teasing is her own way of being friendly. When talking to boys, the teasing sort of comes off as flirting instead, so she's labelled as a flirty member of EP.

   "ambitious hardworker" // When she sets her heart on a goal, she works to get it done, no matter what. She likes to accomplish whatever task she's given and with perfection too. She's a tireless perfectionist and won't rest until something is absolutely, 110% perfect. Whenever she makes a mistake, especially in performances, she takes it extremely seriously. She'll reflect on her mistake for days on end until she resolves to become better. But to be a hardworker isn't solely acknowledging one's actions. She encourages her members and those around her to work hard too. When she observes her EP members' progress, she'll whole-heartedly rain compliments and praise on them. On MV filming sets or TV filming sets, she'll go out of her way to personally thank all the crew for their hard work and perseverance. When considering life-altering decisions, she'll take her time to think things through, but will mostly rely on her emotions rather than logic to back up her choice. After caring for her many siblings, she's responsible and knows to keep her priorities in check.

   "call me caring to a certain degree" // Jisoo may not completely have a heart of gold because of the neverending teasing she unleashes on her members, but nevertheless she does have caring, maternal side of sorts. After raising all her siblings, she has experience in looking after people. She won't explicitly state or show that she's got your back though. Afterall, she's gotta keep that "cool unnie" imagine going on. She likes to do good deeds for her members, friends, and family sort of behind her back, without any fuss. Jisoo would rather show her love through tiny acts, such as cooking soup for when a member when they're sick or buying a random present for a friend for no occasion. She gets embarassed easily when people make a big deal out of her good deeds and brushes it off hurriedly, telling them to "forget about it".

   "angry spitfire" // Jisoo has quite a temper on her. It takes a lot to get Jisoo completely angry, considering how she had to deal with her father's shenagingans ever since she was young. She can smell evil intent from a mile away. Harm her family, friends, or members and she will be ready to tell you off by screaming into your ear. She won't hesitate to slap someone, but that's as far as she'll take when physical violence is concerned. Once you piss her off, you're immediately on her black list. You don't exist, she won't talk to you if you're in her presence. But if she's forced to talk to you, she'll make icy cold passive-aggressive remarks that are as equally biting and hurtful as the pain you caused her. Because of her anger issues, so to speak, she has a heard time forgiving people and can hold grudges for  long time.

   "surrounded by my people" // Around her friends, family, or members, she drops sassy joke bombs like it ain't nobody business. That's because she knows that her friends are adjusted to her sense of humor, so they won't be offended if she says something particularly blunt or bold. She's free around them; there's no filter on her as far as jokes are concerned. But around strangers of acquaintances, her teasing is much lighter in comparison and she's kind of awkward because she dosn't want to scare them away in a sense. It takes a while for her to accept a person as a close friend. The more awkard you are with her, the more polite she is. But as you become closer with her, she'll get more "mean" to you as far as teasing goes. You know you're her close friend when she makes fun of you nonstop.

   "camera on in 3, 2, 1!" // Jisoo often ups the ante on her sassiness when the camera is to help create a light-hearted, funny atmosphere. When introducing herself in front of fans, she'll put a fake-conceited image for jokes, by saying things like "Hello! I am Vi! EP's main dancer and obviously the visual" and hairflip in an exaggerated diva-like fashion. Also, she has her "Spitfire" persona to live up to, and will pretend to get angry at trivial things. If her fellow member, especially a younger dongseng, uses informal language with her, she'll grab them and pretend to beat them up until they apologize.

   "and we're off air!" // Once off camera, she returns to a calmer sassy version of herself. She is more down to earth once off air and doesn't make any fake-conceited comments about herself. Her temper is in check if no one does anything to majorly upset her. Her smiles are much more cheerful and genuineas opposed to mischievous "on-camera" Jisoo. When on a show with a stranger or acquaintance, she'll apologize for any sassy comments that she said to them that might have been taken as hurtful, and she'll fuss over them for a couple of moments.

   Jisoo's father was a young Vietnamese club owner who thought well of himself, or rather, thought way too well of himself, for he was an arrogant playboy who put his needs before others. Jisoo's mother was a young beauty of a Korean woman who was too blinded by her fantasies about romance that she was unaware of how hurtful reality could be. Her dream was to travel around the world, to shoot landscapes of hte most exotic lands, and finally meet her destined love at the cliche city of Paris. She was a capable photogropher and was hired to take photos for a travel magazine back in Korea. And she was off to Vietnam, excited to embark on her first real journey. It was in Saigon where she was taking pictures of the downtown club scene where shet met Jisoo's father.

   Jisoo's father prided himself in being able to seduce any woman, but he had been bored of the local Vietnamese woman lately. They provided no exciting game; the chase was completely boring. He was entranced by this Korean beauty and challenged himself to gain her love and trust to pass the time by. Jisoo's mother had taken a strong dose of reality when she realized that her career as a photographer wouldn't go very far, and she wanted the only dream she had left: love. She succumbed to his cahrms and Jisoo was a result of a one night stand. Jisoo's mother was ecstatic at the prospect of a child, since she always wanted to raise an adorable, large family of her own, but her Vietnamese lover, on the other hand, was not as enthusiastic. The very birth of a child, a responsibility, a liability, was an attack on his bachelorhood. His parents were fed up with his wild ways and told him to take responsibility for his actions or they would cut him off from his inheritance. He would be weighed down by having to support a family, he would be unable to chase after other women, he would be ruined, he, he, he, he. Never once did he think of is child and the mother of his child. Jisoo's maternal grandparents were told about the situation, and they advised their daughter to come back home to Korea with the baby and the father of the child and get married, so as to start a respectable life together.

   Now married, Jisoo's mother and father were united in an "inseperable bond". Her father was less than pleased at the prospect of being a father and a husband, but he couldn't deny the physical attraction to his wife. The physical attraction was definitely there because Jisoo became the oldest of four children. Realizing that his life was slowing down at an unbearable rate, Jisoo's father tried all he could to revert back to his playboy ways. He cheated on his wife on numerous occasions. Jisoo's mother was well aware of her husband's infidelity, but chose to ignore it. In the perfect family she imagined them to be, her husband was warm and loving. If she stuck to her ideals, perhap they would consolidate into reality. But eventually Jisoo's father couldn't take it anymore after Jisoo's mother became pregnant for the fourth time and so he abandoned the family and returned to Vietnam. And just like that, Jisoo's family came topplying down. Her father was missing from her life, whom she greatly resented when growing up and called him a "despicable, coward". 

   Thankfully, her mother stepped up to the plate and took the reins in caring and nurturing her family, with help from Jisoo of course. Jisoo's mother reformed herself into a stronger woman, who didn't need a man to hold her down. Jisoo was supportive of her independent mother and did all she could to help her mother out by taking care of her siblings whenever she could. Jisoo tries to keep her family away from her father, since he didn't want anything to do with them, they don't want anything to do with him. Lately, he's been calling to ask for a second chance with his family, but Jisoo will have none of it. She can't forgive him for all he's done to her family and knows that he's spouting nothing but lies. She has raised her siblings, being both a disciplinary figure and a helpful listener to her siblings. She doesn't need her father; her family doesn't need him. Ironically, with her father out of the picture, Jisoo's family grew closer together and became strong.

   Jisoo got into dancing in elementary school when her friend dragged her to a dance club meeting at their school. Needless to say, she fell absolutely in love with dancing. She joined dance clubs and formed dance groups in middle and high school. Her passion was in dancing, which was quite obvious when she was voted dance captain of her clubs again and again. Though goofing off with her high school friends at dance club were fun, she yearned for the real deal, a real taste of what professional dancing could be. There was a dance studio near her school, where she took up a part time janitor job, not only to make money for her big family, but also to observe the dancers and learn their techniques. Ballet. Hip hop. Contemporary. She wanted to try and master them all. One time late at night, the dance teacher caught her practicing the dance lesson of the day. Instead of being angry, the teacher was quite impressed with her grace and skill, and offered to teach her. Dance Instructor Park saw a lot of potential in Jisoo and encouraged her every step of the way.

   Soon, Jisoo considered dancing as a serious career. At first, she thought of it as more of an unobtainable dream, since she had to take part time jobs to financially support her family. But her dream tortured her cruelly because how impossible it seemed. Eventually, she couldn't take it anymore and shared her dream with her mother. Her mother was hesitant at first, since her own dreams had died when she was young. But soon enough, Jisoo's mother saw the passion and determination in her daughter's eyes and supported Jisoo 100%. As a trainee, Jisoo still took up part time jobs to give to her family because she felt responsible for them, even in the After debuting and becoming an idol, Jisoo sends a big majority of her paycheck to her mother to support the family.

In thinking over choices, she is very shrewd and let's logic make the decision for her. Fun and games isn't her style; she likes to get straight to business in that sense. She holds herself in high regard, and can be labelled as a confident girl. But she is prone to being overconfident and qutie vain. She's a little too proud of her abilities and refuses to admit inferiority to anyone. Because of this, it can be said that she suffers from "pretty girl syndrome". She's well aware that she's talented and good-looking and won't hesitate to show it off.
why are you rival // When Jisoo was a JYP trainee, she had been in the original line up for Miss A. The month before they would choose the members for Miss A was horrible. There was intense competition between female trainees, and the atmosphere was very hostile. Jia and Jisoo seem to take on a rivalry right away because they were deemed by all as fitting the Miss A image. By the end of the month, the manager in charge of Jisoo had told her that she had been already guaranteed a spot in Miss A. But when the line up was released, Jisoo had not made the cut like was promised. Instead, Jia was given the spot on Miss A. Enraged at this unpleasant turn of events, Jisoo asked her manager why she wouldn't debut with Miss A. Her manager had told her that the higher ups of the company, including JYP himself, had thought Jia fit the girl group's image more because of her appeal. JYP thought that Jisoo was not as alluring or sensual in her dances as Jia, which was very important considering that Miss A would take on many y concepts. According to the manager, although Jisoo was a very elegant and passionate dancer, she was considered too classy and seemed to be holding back her iness in dancing. Jisoo took these words to heart, and works hard in mastering the y dance routines. But Jisoo wouldn not resort to trashy y dances, but incorporated her own style to form a classy iness that won her spot on EP. Ever since this incident though, Jisoo feels like she has something to prove to Jia, that Jisoo can be as every bit and even more captivating as Jia.
how do you act around each other // Jisoo and Jia put on fake smiles whenever the other is near. They're very stiff and cold when they are together, but try to put on the friendly act for the camera. They'll be muttering obscenities under their breath, directed at the other though. They disagree for the sake of disagreeing. The competition is high between these two, and they always try to outdo the other in everything such as dancing and popularity. Because EP has been gaining a lot more attention than Miss A lately, Jia is more aggressive than usual when interacting with Jisoo. Jia thinks that she is superior to Jisoo and is convinced that there's no way that Jisoo can outdo her. But Jisoo strives to prove her wrong and that she is on Jia's level, if not higher than Jia's level.

After auditioning for JYP Ent. with a freestyle dance routine, she was happily accepted into the company. Trainee years were a very hectic time for Jisoo. During her time at JYP, she had to balance between school, her part time jobs, and training sessions. Very busy bee. Eventually, the stress build up was too much for her because she couldn't be everywhere at once and still have enough energy for the next day. After talking it over with her mom, she quit her part time jobs to focus on finishing up her education and training hard. Jisoo had entered JYP Entertainment because of her "mixed-blood" status, since she wasn't sure if other companies would discriminate her race and she heard JYP was accepting of multi-racial trainees. She made many multi-racial friends there, and was happy to find a family of friends at JYP who comforted each other through their struggles. Enrolling as a dancer, she excelled in her dancing lessons of course and was requested to try another talent. She chose rapping and found out she had a steady rhythm. With the help of her teachers, she developed stronger rhythm, beat, and flow that would help her become a capable, fierce rapper. Singing wasn't her strong point at all; she avoided singing at all costs. She has a delicate, common voice and can sing along a few measures, but she isn't at a lead vocal's level.

After Jia took her spot on Miss A, she stayed with JYP a few months, until she left to take up an opportunity at SM. She had been a backup dancer for some JYP function when an SM scout had spotted her and told her she had a high chance of debuting at SM. Jisoo took up the offer and trained at SM not to form her skills, but to already enhance and perfect the skills she already had. She worked side by side choreographers to gain experience so as to choreograph EP's dances in the future. Jisoo got along well with other trainees, particularly closer with a couple (her future EP members). Her professionialism was noted, because even she was awkward with a trainee she didn't know well or was paired with a trainee she didn't like, she still cooperated fully with them and respected their opinion. But it was during her trainee years at SM that she started to doubt her dream of becoming a professional dancer entertainer. It seemed like no one would debut her, leaving her to rot on the sidelines. She was wasting time and money, both of which she could dedicate to her family. This was a very low point in her life, when she suffered from slight depression. But when SM announced that they were choosing the EP line up, she decided to put her problems and worries aside to work hard for this last chance. If she wouldn't make it in this line up, she was going home and supporting her family. Thankfully, SM realized her talent and put her in the EP as a definite member.

   "Namsan Tower date" // Jisoo hangs out with Dongwoo in their free time. They just walk around Seoul until they come across Namsan Tower, where lovers leave locks as a testament of their undying love. Dongwoo suggests they go check it out since he's never been there and Jisoo accuses him of being cheesy and that he secretly planned this to win her heart (which she jokingly says she will not have). But when they see all the locks, Jisoo wanders to the location of a very specific lock. It has her name and another man's name on it! She sadly tells him that her ex-boyfriend put it on with her and she had thought that the relationship would last. She's embarassed and ashamed to admit that she thought he was the one, but it was nothing more than her first high school romance. He asked her what happened to him. She tries to brush it off and says that he moved away from her town and he didn't keep in touch. When she had gone to the town, she saw him with another girl and knew that he had moved on without her. Dongwoo acts without thinking, and takes a hairpin out of her hair to pick the lock and flinging it away, telling her that her ex was a coward and he didn't deserve someone like him...

   "rescue from the pool!" // Something with Jisoo being uncomfortable swimming in the beach or pool. Dongwoo jokes and pressures her into the pool, but is horrified to find that she can't swim. He dives after her and rescues her of course. Some CPR, maybe a little smooch smooch, but Jisoo comes out alive and spitting out water. When she is resuscitated, she teases him by saying that she was pretending that she drowned just to get a kiss from him. But she is actually shaken up by the whole ordeal. Dongwoo can teach her to swim and shows her how to unleash her inner mermaid, or something...

   "smells like jealousy" // Instead of calling Jonghyun to rant about her problems, Jisoo calls up Dongwoo instead because Jonghyun is busy. But when Jonghyun cayches wind of this, he gets extremely jealous...
