this isn't the end for all the Yoona pairings

I just wanted to write this blog post so that I can finally let my feelings out. I've been a solid YoonAddict for about three years already. The news about Yoona dating Lee Seunggi definitely made my jaw drop early in the first morning of 2014. Many S♥NEs had the same reaction as I had. Fanboys cried and threatened to leave the fandom immediately. Some were also very happy, especially for those who ship the couple even before the news broke out.

Until now, the news about our choding Jang Saebyuk dating Lee Jae Ha still surprises me. I still couldn't believe it. 

I thought Seunggi's words were mere expressions of admiration for Yoona. I watched Yoona's cuts in Strong Heart before. I thought Seunggi was just like any other guy. "Ooh, I like Yoona." "Yoona is my ideal type." "Yoona is so pretty." But he's such a good man. He finally got Yoona after a few years of expressing his admiration for the SoShi goddess. According to the news, they've been seeing each other for about 4 months now. Seunggi is cool. And I think he's kind. 

But I just can't believe my ship got wrecked. I ship YoonHae. And I've been a crazy pyro. Maybe there really was a YoonHae. But guys, we shouldn't lose hope. We shouldn't stop writing for our ships. I was um.... expecting that Yoona fanfics would decrease due to this. If we feel comfortable writing about Yoona and another guy, we should continue doing so. This is not the end yet.

Let's support Yoona and Seunggi's relationship to the fullest. If our Alligator Yoong is happy, we should be too. We should accept them wholeheartedly. Put yourself in Yoona's situation. What if you hear your fans disapproving your relationship with Seunggi? Wouldn't it hurt you, too? 

We must also expect that maybe... in a few months or years, some SNSD members might reveal their boyfriends too (Judging from how SMEnt responded to the Lee Seunggi + Yoona dating issue). This is not only for the S♥NEs but also for all kinds of fans out there. Let's not act immature. We should also learn from the Jonghyun + Shin Sekyung dating issue. Many fans went to the SM Building and cursed Jonghyun. Think about it. If you were in your bias' place, would you be happy?  No matter how much we love our bias, we can't dictate him or her which guy/girl he or she should love. We're fans. And what do we do? We support. Sad truth but it's for everyone's advantage.

I hope you get what I'm trying to say. 'Nuff said. :)
