Secret: Best 2013 (or beyond) K-drama

Okay, maybe this is the wrong place to spazz -considering that I kind of believe the majority of AFFs would lean to Heirs more, but..

 

I.am.so.ing.in.love.with. SECRET!!

 

I don't even usually like melodrama. I am more of a rom-com type of girl when it comes to K-drama (aside from White Christmas), but Secret totally blows my mind. It is just such an excellent drama written very thoughtfully, directed carefully, played by the most talented actors and actress, supported by the most hearbreaking soundtrack, displayed such a beautiful chemistry between the two main leads, oh.my. I can't, Secret just steals my heart and soul and I can't believe it's over now...

 

What I know is that it would definitely rest in my #1 favorite K-drama of all time, or at the very least, for a very, very long time.

 

Perfection in every sense.

 

Anyone I can spazz Secret with? hehehe <3

Heirs? Actually, I doubt it. There was a LOT of hype leading up to it, but it was so... So... Well, let's just say it didn't live up to my expectations. Nor did it to most peoples' as far as I know. The viewer ratings were much lower than expected, too. I was debating wether to watch this or not (recently finished My Love From the Star, soooo awesome and also fits in the rom-com genre, I guess. I think you would love it since you will OBSESSIVELY SHIP THEM TO DEATHHHH AND THE YOUNGER BROTHER LIKEEEE KYA and you're a hardcore shipper, right? :D) BUT I chose to watch Reply 1994 instead, and it's pretty good. I'll watch this next.

By the way, sorry for commenting on your blogs all of a sudden, I was just passing through and couldn't resist.

Wait! Is that the drama that has that twisted guy from 49 days? The one who's like a lawyer/prosecutor? I was watching a drama in KBS world and saw that. But im not sure if it's the same drama. I've only watched skipped episodes but the storyline (i guess) goes like this.
There was a rich guy who got engaged with his friend but he's already in love with another girl who turns out to have gotten in an accident and died. Meanwhile, there was this bakery girl, in love with a new lawyer, they were going to get married and all but they got in to an accident. The lawyer hit the girl the rich guy was in love with (hit and run). The bakery girl took all the blame and went to prison to save the lawyer. The lawyer was actually very ambitious, i think. I've only seen like three skipped episodes. But yeah, it was good. Is it that one? XD
