personality: zwei had learned a long time ago that she was better off keeping shut than talking. she opens only when questioned, or to give off the occasional sarcastic comment or answer. after being bullied a lot by her friends and family, she matured. comments began to bounce off of her and she was more understanding, more accepting of people -- despite how rude they were, or seemed to be. she is parent-like, unconsciously taking care of her friends when they need it and going to whatever lengths she can to make sure that they are well and happy. somewhere along the way of becoming mature, she stopped caring, and learned to pretend to listen.
when she is staying quiet, she likes to watch and listen to other people she finds interesting, simply observing the small details, such as the lilt in their voice, or the side glance of their eyes. she analyzes what others say and do to get a better understanding of their character. She may be wrong at times, but her observations have, on numerous occasions, led her to determine the difference between a liar and a person who truly cares. however, she finds that she unconsciously chooses not to analyze the people too close to her, as it affects how she sees them. if she cares for someone, she will care for them with every fiber of her being. zwei is the type of person to do things without saying anything -- when she sees one of her friends coughing, the person will find a cough drop in front of them without having heard a single word from the giver: zwei. If her friend is unhappy, she will leave them a series of anonymous gifts to get them to smile. however, it is hard to get her to truly care for someone, as she is so cynical of the world and its inhabitants.
after realizng that she wasn't the perfect, intelligent lady that her family wanted her to be, zwei became rebellious. she cut her hair and dyed it, began to wear the dark colors she so loved, and held herself the way she wanted to hold herself -- which is, to say, not properly, like a lady.
she likes to tease and banter with people, even though she doesn't show that interest as she rarely talks to people she's not close to -- unless they're an utterly random stranger. however, when the teasing and bantering gets too far and she simply gets upset and angry, zwei will isolate herself, violently relieve her emotions with the help of a well-bruised pillow, play loud music, or sleep away her thoughts. when she gets happy and excited, however, she will attempt to conceal her very obvious smile and act oddly energized, unlike the way she usually is, which is a rather quiet and sullen sort of person. Although she is quiet, she fights and hits hard -- after spending years of wrestling with her cousins. and when she must, she can project her voice...

background: zwei spent most of her time outside of the house, rather than at home. she disliked most of her family, and although she loved them inside and knew they loved her ( or, had to, on account of her being family ) she disliked being with them. they disliked her for not being the perfect lady, and for, in fact, being a rebellious girl who was more like a boy than a girl, and was more creative than athletic or intelligent like the rest of her family was. she rebelled a lot, but nearly everyone in her family gave up on her, except for her older cousin and mother. her older cousin was her only friend, even if he didn't understand her, and was protective of her like she was his sister. however, her mother clung to her like a leech, off what she could, -- money she earned from selling her works and tutoring her friends -- and trying to force her to do things she thought would be better for her, like following the medical path the rest of her family did.
as a result of disliking her family, she stayed out with her friends often. her friends didn't entirely understand her either, because she sometimes seemed so much older than they were. after being bullied a lot when she was younger, she developed a sense of quiet maturity. with that, she proceeded to grow into the independent rebel that she wanted to be, not what others wanted her to be.
her friends think her name, "zwei" is ironic, as zwei doesn't talk much.

personality: kai likes to tease yong hee, and while she argues back with a sharp tongue, she enjoys her playful bantering with him. they have a sort of love-hate relationship that others may not understand, but they both know that inside, they both care about each other very much, and would go to extreme lengths to help each other. now and then, they leave Small surprises for each other at their dorms or practice rooms. however, most of these surprises turn out to be practical jokes that the two are smart enough to pass on to their friends to open. they have a few conflicting views, but are happy with compromising with each other and enjoying what they have while they can. he is teasing, occasionally manipulative (but in a sweet, good-intentions way), loyal, honest, and goes out of his way to help her more than he does for anyone else.
backstory: zwei met kai when she was a trainee. on her way out of a practice room, neither were watching where they were going and he spilled a cup of coffee on her as she stomped hard on his foot. neither would apologize, and it was love at first sarcastic comment. they continued to bump into each other afterwards, and gradually softened to each other and became friends before lovers. kai was the first to confess, and when he did, zwei promptly choked on her soda, spilling what was left of her can on his new shoes. she confessed to him the same night to keep him from yelling at her, and because she was too surprised and happy to say anything else. they proceeded to date each other, with only their closest friends knowing that they did not, in fact, hate each other -- rather, they loved each other.
relationship status: they are good friends and lovers, but love to play jokes on each other and act like they hate each other. neither has to be the "perfect guy/girl" around each other, and are free to be as rude and weird as they wish.
