Exo Fan Stampede 130602

I had to edit my post coz people are taking it negatively. I am in NO way judging the entire Korean fans much less the entire fandom. I also know that both parties are at fault. I only wanted to point out that for whatever reason, good or bad, violence is NOT the answer. Exo has been a part of my stories and I came to realize that they are cool and nice guys (Kris is ultra handsome and Tao is an adorable bad boy.) and they deserve all the love and support they're getting.

Obviously, this incident have gone out of hand. I think it was a misunderstanding due to language barrier that sprouted into a whole other mess of issues. This whole fiasco actually opened my eyes about certain things and I hope it does the same for you. I just hope this will end so we can all continue spazzing over our respective biases with nothing but rainbows and unicorns. Fighting!

If you wanna know what really happened go to the original clip and read the description. The owner explained her side and what transpired that day. Click here: Exo Fan Stampede

this is my pov. i've seen korean exotics' attitude during the first few weeks of their promotion live as i was there quite a few times. and to tell u the truth was it quite scary. the running and pushing was a no joke. after this video went viral on youtube. we were more speechless whenever we saw exotics during a few music shows that we went to. i heard from some people that sometimes even the securities were quite angry/ have some argument with the fans. and they always remind the fanstaffs to ask the exotics to behave. to tell you the truth the securities are quite scary. i came across this one time when the security literally asked this one fandom to get out from the studio right b4 the respective idol group performed since they can't behave themselves and i heard it happened once to exotics too. but im not 100% sure if its true.

bottom line is. .. when we talked about exotics in korea itself..usually.. since most of them are quite young. they acted without thinking twice of their behavior. unless you have see it live in front of ur eyes..

I remember there's this one time suho literally asked the exotics not to scream with their high pitch voice when he saw some of us cringed and closed our ears, aside from he was kinda shocked because there are 50 or more exotic behind us were screaming for their attentions while they prepared for their stage when i think only 6 of us are not exotics. btw. at that time suho was standing like 10 steps or less away from me. so yeah.. that is the scariness of exotics. =.="

This (stampeding) is actually really dangerous and I hope that SM or the music program staff or whoever is in charge does something to prevent this from happening again

Objectively speaking, the girl who filmed it was at fault since towards the end, you can see around 3 or 4 girls who told her to stop filming, though they didn't really say it loud enough, so the girl probably didn't hear them which is completely understandable given the commotion. While it's rude to film other people without permission, it's even more disrespectful to slap a completely random stranger, even if you didn't want them to film your face. At the very least, the girl who slapped her could have gone up to her and tell her to stop filming, instead of resorting to violence.

Of course, this one incident does not represent all of the k-fans sentiments, so please don't judge the whole Korean fandom based on this one video, as you can see, the other tens/hundreds of fans did not mob the girl filming this and did not mind. Keep in mind that this is just one fan, and should not be used a representation of the whole EXO fandom.

WTF??? That is completely crazy!! I mean if not an exotic (I'm a SHAWOL) but seriously, when I see fans like this it's really just unbelievable! No offense to Exotics but I feel really disgusted by your fandom.

I'm not a hater but i'm a fan of SM artists. They always say that SM has the worst fandoms/fans. Well this might just let the people think that it's true. And oh my god, does seoul still have any girls left since so many girls went to see exo. Lol. Some fans resort to violence cos of being too obsessed.

I think both sides are wrong. First, the girl shouldn't have filmed it. I mean, they can, but the fans had also asked them to stop filming three times (maybe they didn't understand?)
But even so, the fan shouldn't have slapped her either. That was just plain rude.

well... in my opinion someone who film it start first.
if i become them. i will angry if there'se people who film what i do.
especially when i'm in a rush to see my idol.
it's kind of rude if you film it.
people can't blame her because she slap that girl.

That girl who slapped her @0:58 was just plain rude. Even if she had her reasons for doing so she still shouldnt have done that.
