Small Story (The Truth; Sehun's Sister)

Standing upon the edge of the cliff, her tears fell into the deep ocean as it roared and crashed into the sharp rocks. She weeped, her warm tears trickling down her puffy and sore cheeks. Her body trembled, her arms wrapped around herself in an attempt to comfort herself. But to no avail.

She longed for his warmth again. His love, his smile, his voice, his very existance is what brought her to happiness. But now he no longer was here, he was gone from this world. He left her by herself, even when he said he wouldn't leave her side. Now she was all alone once again. She had nobody to love, and nobody to love her back.

Her cries echoed off into the never ending ocean, the stinging rain beating down on her as her knees buckled. She fell to the ground, her body thumping onto the slippery and now muddy earth. Her hands clutched her arms, her nails digging into her skin so hard that was bound to left marks.

"J..Junmyeon!" The girl breathed out, her hair clinging to her face as her clothes were soaked, sticking to her skin like glue. Her body was ice cold, it was as if all pumping blood had left her. Her eyes squeezed shut, the now painfully sweet and haunting images of her lover flashing through her mind.

She uncurled herself from her position, and was now kneeling, her body leaning towards the edge of the cliff she had drived to. She felt so alone, weak, and pained. Her hands gripped onto the edge, the moist feeling of mud slipping past her fingers and dirtying her hands as she felt the ground beneath her curled fists drip away.

"I love you."

The girl gasped, the voice that had said spoke sounded so much alike to her dead lover. She looked around, hoping to find Junmyeon around her. But she only saw fields, trees, and her car parked a long way back. She shook her head, thinking that she was hallucinating. But what she didn't know, was that her lover was watching her.

Junmyeon's spirit was standing there, a few feet away from her, with pained eyes. He hated seeing his still living fiance crying her heart out, it made him sorrowful when all he could do was watch. He stood still, his hands curled into fists as he bit his bottom lip and looked away. It was all too much, he knew that his fiance had so much to live for. But he knew she was planning on doing something.

She planned on throwing her life away.

"Please, don't do this."

Junmyeon begged, hoping that his fiance would hear it and take his plead. His eyes snapped open once he heard his lover's scream. Junmyeon looked back to where he last saw her, at the edge of the slowly falling apart cliff, and she was no longer there. He raced to the edge and looked down, seeing his fiance's body curtling down towards the ocean.

His breathing fastened as he then dissapeared, soon appearing at her side. His body reacted the way her body was, it was as if they were both falling when Junmyeon was the spirit. He reached out, both of his hands reaching for his lover's hands. Grasping them, he intertwined their fingers together and held them tightly.

He watched as she opened her eyes, the fall still on going and she looked right at him. Junmyeon knew he could be seen by her as to why her eyes widened, and she tightly squeezed his hands. Her tears only became more as she tried to embrace Junmyeon, but she couldn't. He could touch her, but she couldn't touch him.

"Junmyeon!" His fiance cried out, her head shaking side to side as her hair flew behind her, the ocean becoming closer and closer as they continued to fall. Junmyeon felt his own eyes water, despite him being a spirit, he could still react like a living human. He closed his eyes and reopened them, locking eyes with her.

"I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry, Miyoung."

With those last words, his body had stopped falling with Miyoung's as hers continued to fall. Junmyeon stood there, his figure soon fading away as he watched Miyoung's body plunge into the cold ocean. Her scream was the last thing Junmyeon heard before she fell beneath the unforgiving water.

The look of desperation, the look of terror was seen on Miyoung's face as she met with the deep water. She flew down into the bottom due to the impact and watched as her dead lover slowly dissapeared. Her hands reached out, trying to swim to the surface but to no success. It was as if something or someone was pulling her down to the bottom.

Then, so fast, her air had escaped her. opened wide, the air bubbles escaping her and seeping to the top. Her body laid motionless as she continued to look up, her eyes wide. Like she was never there, she suddenly vanished into the dark shadows of the bottom.

Junmyeon watched as he saw the air bubbles rise to the surface, and he closed his eyes as he realized that she was now gone. Never to awake another day, never to love someone else, never to move on. She was now stuck in her own pain as she had just comitted suicide. Despite his efforts to stop her, he ended up falling with her and watched as she slowly fell into darkness.

Junmyeon felt his tears leave his eyes, he never wanted his fiance to die because of him. He wanted Miyoung to continue living her life, she had so much to go for. But she no longer lived. Feeling one single tear slip down to his chin, he chocked back his cry as that one tear fell off from his face.

The lone tear then headed down to fall into the ocean, leaving one useless ripple in the water. With that plop, Junmyeon had fully dissapeared. His voice the only thing left, echoing into the wind and fading as it carried off.

"I'm sorry, my love."

"Woah, that's so sad." Sehun frowned, his eyes showing sadness as his hyung had just finished telling him a story. Kai nodded, his emotions soon getting too much for him to handle.

"Is that the end? Or is there something else about the story?" Sehun asked, his fingers fiddling with the hem of his jacket as they sat on the couch after finishing a choreo.

Kai cleared his throat and nodded, his eyes closing and reopening as he sighed. Telling his dongsaeng this story was too much, it brought back memories that he didn't want to remember painfully.

"Dad and mom said that if you were to visit that cliff, you could hear Miyoung's cries and screams. And if you pay close attention, you could hear the whispers of Junmyeon saying what he said to Miyoung." Kai's lips pursed, feeling small tears trickle at the rim of his eyes.

"H..hyung, why are you crying?" Sehun pondered, his own heart tugging at the emotions he felt while knowing this story. The story was just too sad yet painfully romantic.

"I'm crying because Miyoung was.." Kai gasped, no longer holding it back as he lurched foreword and buried his face into the palms of his hands. Sehun reached and patted his hyung's back, trying to comfort him as he weeped.

"Because she was..?" Sehun softly repeated, he really wanted to know what Kai was trying to say. Being as Kai was his big brother, since he was adopted to the Kim family, he cared for him so much. But besides comforting his hyung, Sehun wanted to know what Miyoung was, as to Kai, since it seemed like the infomation was important. So Sehun wanted to know.

Even though Sehun had only met Miyoung a few times, he felt close and somewhat connected to her. So in result, he worried about it and was curious to know what Kai was trying to say about her. But when Kai finally told him, he stayed silent in shock.

His mouth was hanging open, his heart felt as if it was just crushed. Sehun felt as if he had lost everything, in which in a way, was true. Those words that made Sehun feel like so was..

"Miyoung..she..she was your biological sister."
