Forgotten Nicknames

A close friend on mine back in high school gave me a nickname "CappuJishu".  I can't remember how she came up with that nickname though I took some sort of personality coffee test and I ended up being a Cappuccino but I'm not sure if the nickname came out before or after that test.  That friend liked to drink cappucino.  For some reason, I couldn't help but think that she's calling me that out of endearment.  I'm not very much into cappuccino though I like cappuccino flavored food but not so much the coffee. I always prefer latte with sugar.  

I haven't heard the nickname for like 4 or 5 years maybe since we separated after high school.  Though we saw each other a few times during university but that didn't nickname didn't come out... until we met up with each other again last week.  It was kind of an impromptu meeting with our other close friend suddenly texting her to come to Krispy Kreme near out workplace and she decided to do so.  

Jishu:  What are you drinking?

Close Friend:  Cappuccino... CappuJishu.

Jishu:  *shock for like 3 seconds*  Oh... I haven't heard that from you in a long time.  *turns attention to my other friend* What about you?

Close Friend #2:  Latte.

Jishu:  I'm getting that too.

Then the other night at twitter (if you guys are following twitter, maybe you can read this at my page or something) 

Friend:  Lami magdrink ug cappujishu ron.  (It'll be nice to drink CappuJishu right now.)

Jishu:  You want a taste of me? *wink*

Friend:  Oh my gad! Haha.

She also used to called me "Tender Jishu"  It's sort of a joke from the hotdog brand Tender Juicy XD 

In hae_ki's blog.  She had a blog titled Jijuuu.  I was also shock after seeing that title.  It has also been a while since I've been called that.  My research groupmates (hae_ki being a groupmate too) gave me that nickname so the japanese~feeling nickname Jishu turned into a korean~feeling nickname Jiju  XD!  

At my workplace again, an officemate calls me Jeshu.  He reminded me of another close friend back in high school (though not as close as the ones I talked about early and hae_ki <3)  She used to call me Jeshu all the time with that awesome singsong voice of hers~ XD 

Meeting up with my childhood/dance studio close friend a few days back (I talked about it in my other blog).  She called me "Chiq!"  I haven't heard that nickname for a wihle as well........WELL, except for my mom and relatives calling me that because my parents nicknamed me Chiqui -_-   But since I've been to that dance studio starting 3 years old, the people there had gotten around calling me Chiqui.

And for those people who call me Maria... HECK, it's funny yet irritating but I get used to it anyway XD

When I was new at work, one of my supervisors went like

Sup: What do you want to be called? Maria or Jessica?

Jishu:  Jessica.

Sup:  Why not Maria? Maria is such a beautiful name. It sounds so virgin!!!! 

Jishu:   *facepalmed in my thoughts* Hahahaha!  *half fake, half real laughter*

Sup: *introduce to the others*  And this is the virgin Maria!!!  But she prefers to be called Jessica and she's a virgin!!!

So there goes my names/nicknames XD
