Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva expresses how she's a huge fan of EXO

After setting a new worldwide record for the ladies' short program at the '2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics', Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedevadescribed how K-Pop idol group EXO has made a huge impact on her career.

 

Evgenia Medvedeva mentioned in an interview, "I was able to pull through after facing all the stress and injuries."

 

On February 11, the 18-year-old champion skater had broken her personal best score of 80.85 points after receiving a total of 81.06 points during the short program, setting a new world record.

 

She commented, "I am happy to have set a new world record. Although it was hard, I prepared a lot for my performance at the Pyeongchang Olympics."

 

Despite the fact that her foot injury wasn't fully recovered, Evgenia Medvedeva still managed to give a graceful performance on the ice.

 

She also mentioned how she was constantly fueled by K-Pop. When asked what kind of K-Pop music she enjoys listening to, the figure skater responded, "I frequently listen to EXO's music."

 

And beamed at the thought of meeting EXO in person. "I would love to meet them. I have all of the members' photos," illustrating her fandom heart.

 

Medvedeva added, "Thanks to EXO I am feeling much better and I was able to perform successfully at the Winter Games. I wish all the EXO members great health this year."
