Anything about her job is important to me, so once in a while turns into Miranda priestly herself. she loves her employees, her designers, her seamstresses and and Dasom the most, but she really need them to do a good job. She can't take any flaws.

She was born in london, Uk, under the name of haewon/catherine kim. She had a normal childhood and never had any struggles. Her family was well off, they weren't rich or anything but they could survive very good. Ever since her childhood she loved fashion and painting. so it was natural for her and her family, that her mother, that she would be a designer when she grew up. Her father was against it though, complaining about how it wasn't a real job and she should choose a professional career.
At the age of 15 she and her mother came home from the ballet late at night, where they figured they were followed by a strange man.her mother was trying to be calm and telling her daughter to run and call help. She opposed but her mother told her, she had pepperspray with her and would be able to defen herself. They were loosing time as the guy fastened up his pace. lala ranas fast as she could to call for help. She soon walked into the nearest police station and came back with an officer, only to find her mother lying on the pavement. She ran up to her and soon figured she was covered in blood. Haeun didn'T survive the night and died later in the hospital.
After her mother died she was devastated. Her father wasn't supporting her desire to become a fashion designer and he made it very clear that he wasn't going to pay for a college. So she spent the last few years before college filling her designer portfolio, posting them on instagram and getting alot of followers. after graduation she refused her fathers desire to attend a normal college, but since she was underage, she needed his signiture to apply for the college. They made an agreement, that he will give her the sign but she had to find a way to pay for her tuitition.
she manages to get a full diploma and so her father was forced to support her from now on.
ever since she started at the school her career was set in stone. she got an internship at chanel and managed to graduate with a 4.0 average.
Two weeks before her graduation party, a guy named Kim Heechul contacted her and said he wanted to talk about future coorporations. He send her a flight ticket and an opportunity to open her own label in south korea. She searched alot about him online, fearing it was a con artist, but it was all real.
And so she moved to south korea. Soon after she began building her label (with the financial help of heechul) and was soon a global success. She asked him, why he would invest in a nobody like her and his only aswer was
"I know when I see talent. and you are talented. in return i expect lifelong loyalty. Not with money, i have that already. but when i need something, you make it asap, for free logically." She agreed and that's where she got his funding of 2 billion won.
that was the day she changed her name into lala kim. Her new alter ego, ready to take on the world.

Some dickhead put his moving boxes everywhere. So either i have a new dickhead neighbour or some dickhead neighbour is moving out. i really hope for the last one," Hechul chuckled at the other side. "Okay, see you at the ball. Tell me everything about Mr. or Mrs. Dickhead then, please." She nodded and and walked to the stairs to walk upstairs. Just when she opened the door from the staircase to her floor, her eyes met for a second with a guy who was standing in the elevator. It was only seconds before the door closed but his gaze sent a shiver through her body. "Mr. dickhead then", she said and opened the doof to her arpartment.

After their first encounter, lala didn't see him as often as he heard him. at night. aswell as a girl. but not the same girl. the was different every night and lala was in shock that she even noticed. One day she was sick and tired of them, walked over and banged on the door, yelling at them to shut up and go to sleep or to go to a freaking motel.
next morning, as she was leaving for work, he was leaning in his doorframe, watching the girl he obviously spend the night with while she was waiting for the liftdoors to close. She closed the door very loudly to make herself noticed, as she sneered at him. "Aren'T you scare to get STD or something? Where do you even get this many girls? Like isn't this the 4h this week?" He looked at her and smiled. "you were counting, huh. Jelous?" Lala chuckled. "Sure, I always wanted to have STD.", she said with a straight face and then rolled her eyes. "Look, i don't care, what you do, who you do or how many times you do it, just please be quiet while doing it. Thanks" and with that, She walked to the staircase.

They met again at the ball, lala spotting him leaning on a wall, scanning the room. She walked up to him, and imitated the act, looking around. He didn't even bother looking at her. "What do you want?" She smiled. "Take it easy, tiger. if you make it too obvious your prey will notice and flee." He sipped on his drink. "Get lost, will you. don'T you try pissing on my parade." She turned towards him. "Did i offend you? I'm sorry darling, are we friends again" He placed his drink on the table beside him, gave her one last look and walked away. Lala grinned.

A few more bickerings happened occationly at the auction aswell as at home, when one night, a creeper followed lala home after she went to the convienient store. usually she'd just order some room service, but she was craving for her good old tuna kimbap. panicked as she noticedthat someone followed her, she started running. the stalker almost made a move on her, when eunhyuk came up to her, put his arm around her shoulder. Lala was too scared to react and just went with it. "What are you doing here, stupid. I've been looking for you." He pulled her towards the building and once they were inside he let go of her. "Are you insane. What were you thinking. I always thought you are smart." she was looking at the floor, muted. He sighed. "Look, what would've happened if i hadn't seen you being chased by that stranger?" He saw a tear rolling down her eyes and his heart broke. He didn'T know why but seeing her in front of her, vulnerable adn broken for the first time gave him a bad tummy feeling.

And he, was doing ... well women. soon this weird tention build up between them, they both realised that their 'friend dates' felt more like 'couple dates'. Lala opened her door to find a chaos inside. "What the hell, eunhyuk", she cursed as she saw eunhyuk lying on her couch, chips and beer cans everywhere, plus his clothes were forming a path from the door to the couch. There he was, lying on the couch only wearing boxers and a tshirt and was watching a baseball game. Lala tried to calm her nerves by closing her eyes and breathing steadily, as she head eunhyuks voice. "Hey, you wanna join?", he was now sitting on the couch looking over to her. Lala changed from her shoes into her slippers, put her purse on the table and walked over to him. "Sure. You wanna clean this freaking mess?" She layed down, laying her legs over his lap and yawed."after the game okay?", he looked at her with puppy eyes while massaging her calf. She was too tired to argue today and just nodded in response as she drifted away into slumber. She woke up to eunhyuk, yelling at her. She instantly sat, looking around the room. I was dark outside and the flat was clean again. "What happened? You okay? You seemed to have a nightmare." She remembered and felt how a tear ran across her cheek. Eunhyuk pulled her his chest, into a tight hug. He knew her for some time now and had never seen her cry, there was no was this wasn't anything. "you wanna talk about it?" he felt how she shook her head and slowly released the hug. There faces were centimeters away and he could feel her breath on his skin. There it was again. This moment. One of those many moments where his belly contracted and his heart skiped a beat. He wanted to tell her but she couldn't. so he let the moment pass. again. "Come on, i'm gonna bring you to bed. it's late." And she shook her head again. "No i cannot sleep now. can .. can we watch friends?" He smiled at her. "Sure, i'm gonna make us some of that gross vegan hot cocoa, you start netflix." She looked at him as he walked into the kitchen. Is this the same old eunhyuk we know?
